Hircine. Because he is largely based on Odin, or rather one of his tasks, being god of the hunt. Odin is god of victory, war and a lot of other things too that I think fit somewhat with Hircine aswell. He also uses a spear, has wolf companions and ancient norse sagas tell of men he gifted with the strength of wolves (Ulfhednar) and bears (Berserkers) which fits well with Hircines werecreatures.

I'm a firm believer in norse mythology so my choice is clear. A lot of other things in TES and most other fantasy settings are based on norse mythology too (Tolkiens works being the most famous).

I can't decide if I'd like to be Azura (for the nicer housing) or Hermaeus Mora (for the power and knowledge). Probably Azura, because she's also got the benefit of not being a lobster squid thing. And yes, I know that the princes can change their appearance, but then I wouldn't be one of them, I'd be someone else.

Probably Hermaeus Mora. After all, knowledge is power.

Does Jyggalag count? He would be my second choice, followed closely be Sheo.

Why do you have to put these topics in Oblivion? Surely it would be better for people like me who only check Morrowind and General for them to go in general... ah well, I've seen this one, so no harm done.

I'd be either Sheogorath or... Azura maybe...

Actually, I'm glad that it isn't. This way, people can answer more than one, or none at all. Also, in most polls like this where there are a lot of options, the people making the polls have a high probability of forgetting one or two of the choices

Not sure who I'd prefer but I'm definitely most like Sheo.
Azura seems nice though so she'd probably be my choice.

dude the most poweful daedric prince is again being underestimated.

Sheogorath though ur not that powerful when you are actually him ingame think about him in real life how annoying would it be if ur like Molag-bal and sheogorath sent you a present that just said open. you open it and party confetti goes flying into ur face. (secretly posion is injected into your body as you have the confetti on your face and molag-bal dies ha ha)

read some of the books on Shoegorath and see real power :P

Who has more power than a daedric prince, as demonstrated in the banishment of Azura... The only reason he was easily killed is because of in-game limitations.

"The Trial of Vivec" was an unofficial roleplay over at the TES forum. Nowhere in the game will you find this information, it was probably ment to be for fun.

In-game limitations? They could have easily made him insanely powerful or even immortal. At least before he loses his power due to the Nerevarine destroying the heart of Lorkhan. However, they chose not to, proving that he isnt all that powerful. Besides, you also kill Almalexia in the game which has stolen power from the same source so...
