Does Herma-Mora know other princes neonymics and protonymics
Oof, long title. Anyway, does Hermaeus Mora know the protonymics and neonymics of the other daedric princes? I know he's the the prince of knowledge, and if he went that hard after the secrets of the Skaal this seems like something he would be extremely interested in.

Re: Does Herma-Mora know other princes neonymics and protony
I'd be tempted to say that he does know their protonymics. He clearly doesn't know everything, but they're definitely some of the most powerful tidbits of forbidden knowledge in the Aurbis. Falls within his sphere neatly.
There's no way he can know their neonymics though, since they change once invoked and the new one is seemingly only known to the owner and anyone he tells. So maybe old Mora tries to pursue disloyal lesser Daedra in the hopes of gaining a bargaining chip over his fellow Princes? Seems like something he'd do, and maybe something he'd even hold onto for a time. In the grand scheme of things though, it seems like the neonymics of important Daedra are secrets guarded even more fiercely than those of the Skaal, so I can't really see him maintaining an up-to-date database of banishing incantations. After all, the Void is terrifying for an immortal.
Personally I'd like to think that there are innumerous musty tomes in Apocrypha somewhere, each stuffed with useless old paleonymics and maybe one or two actual functioning ones. Just enough of a threat to keep the named Daedra in line, but not enough to be of any use to anyone but Hermaeus himself.

Only the Mnemoli have glimpsed such things, and they're big teases so they're not talking.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.
