Disposition question

Post by Prodigy616 »

So I have a question, when becoming friends with someone there disposition raises and they are nice to you BUT manually raising relationshiprank doesn't let you take items or use their beds.

My question is about a specific npc: during diplomatic immunity if you use Erikur he becomes friends with you and you can sleep in his beds. Is there a console command to activate this? Or make it as if I chose that text during that quest?

Just bothers me that one way of doing a quest had a "missable" disposition raise.

Just wondering if I can trigger the raise as if it happened through the quest not just setrelationshiprank 1

My guess is that this "mutual ownership" is specially scripted for certain NPCs after quests, as a reward. I don't believe you're able to modify every NPC's disposition to the point where they do this, but I could be wrong—Skyrim's system of disposition is a lot more covert than Oblivion's or Morrowind's.
Oblivion is my playground Image Morrowind is my home

Ok and there is no way to like trigger that script as if the quest wasn't completed yet? Oh well I stopped caring it's just my OCD, thanks anyways

I wish I knew what that hidden NPC variable was that some of my mods use. SetRelationshipRank is just for unlocking dialogue menus. It just allows NPCs that hate you to still follow (be an ally with) you. They still hate you though. Ha!

It might be possible to just change ownership/faction of the objects/cells you desire. I'm not entirely sure however if it can be achieved with the console or if the CK will be required.

SetOwnership is a console command that works on object references as well as cells.
For use in scripting, use SetActorOwner() or SetFactionOwner().
