Added a couple of potions, bandages and a flask of water to my sheet. Nothing major but I thought I should give you the heads up.

Seeing as all of us are carrying weapons of various sorts - how strict is the law on this?
Would an everyday person alert the city watch if they saw someone with a weapon on their person? Or would you be dowright arrested if a watchman saw/found you with one?

I believe it largely depends on what kind of weapon, and just how discrete it can be. Thats why crossbows have a foldable variant, so that you arent lugging that in open view.

Obviously, anything hidden or even hidden in plain sight(i.e cane sword) will draw less concern or attention than others.. even the few that are moderately okay with such display.

Then again.. if somebody is walking down the street with a blunderbust in their hands.. they sure as hell cant be up to any good, even if it just looks that way <_< Just my two cents. Idk what legal action may occure if you publicly display your weapon

In the Victorian times, there were no restrictions on the buying and carrying of firearms. In fact, there were no such laws until the Firearms Act of 1920. Most people carried a pistol with them for protection, though some preferred caneswords.

Likewise, in this universe, there are no such laws. However, people will probably be nervous if you're carrying around a large piece of weaponry, which is why smaller and more compact firearms are preferred. Like nowadays, while you might have the right to display your weapon openly, people might report you to the City Watch, which could possibly mean trouble for you. A City Watchman might ask you why you're carrying such a powerful weapon, but he can't charge you with anything. If they were looking for an excuse to arrest you, however, they could arrest you for "intent to cause bodily harm or possibly death with deadly weaponry".

:
Name: Morgan Sumiden

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: Morgan has long white hair that reaches down to his chin, half hiding the freckles running across his nose and under his very pale blue eyes. He’s 5 feet 9 inches and is in another healthy state apart from his albinism.

Apparel: Red waistcoat and tie over a burgundy shirt with smart grey trousers with a pocket watch hanging from the belt. Often than not he has gloves on that cover half cover his hands and all of his fingers.

Weapons: Derringer, hidden up left sleeve. Flip-blade hidden away in his pocket.

Miscellaneous Items: Aforementioned pocket watch, 40 Echarts. A black over the shoulder bag stuffed with innocuous documents of business, mixed with similar documents on magic. The bag holds also notecards as means to communicate with his boss. Glasses for looking smart.

Biography: Morgan was born, simple enough really. But however he was born into a family where most magical inclined members were albino. His parents, people who have been trying and trying for a child, refused to let Morgan go. Growing up they warned him, about what will come, how he must hide it, keep it subtle keep it hidden. So he did. He kept it hidden, finding books here and there to help him understand. It was then simple enough. After a few uneventful years Morgan began in the business. He is a low level clerk in a law firm, nothing special, simple job that allows him to seem normal, but at night? He’s a magician, someone with power, with information and power beside the boss of the little gang known as the Red Bottles, the leader being his trusted childhood friend Jackie, known to the others in the gang as White and Black, for the colours of their hair.
He carries around weapons mostly for his own protection at this point.

Accepted. If you'd like, you could give me some more details about the Red Bottles and I could add them to the OP. Edit: Done

I'm thinking of starting sometime this week. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are probably the best days for me, but if anyone has any suggestions or objections, just speak up.

So you'll be watching Homestruck:Prepare to Cry edition then.

I have no shame in that.

Regarding magic, do we utter words or just cast it(depending on dice rolls)

Sure, I can move it back to Friday if you really want. I thought Wednesday was the best because I'd have a completely free day to set everyone up, but Friday works too.

That sounds like a niche youtube channel idea, Dov. :P

Just cos it makes me sing it when I see it, I propose the theme tune to this rp be, 'Flash! Ah Ah. FlashPoint! Di di di di di di".

You know what I just realized? The distinct preference for male characters in this RP, especially rough cut sorts :wat: this is sort of vexxing. Who's gonna help Rin create super adorable moments or call her sweatie? :< I don't see Cornelia warming up any time soon

Heh, you said "Vexing". Maybe if Wolf dies (Crossing my fingers on no for that, I really like him) I'll put in a Vex 2.0, or maybe Rook could put in a cameo <3

I dunno, I just wanted to make a change this time around. And Wolf is probably gonna be cool with kids, Rin included.

I like how everyone but Morgan gets one word to describe them. I'm special.

But as for how he is around children well I don't rightly know to be frank.

Gonna be a bit like Captain Cool, huh love? Just like 'em tales on the turf? Causin em devious shenanigans n' what not? Srry XD couldnt help the RPness.

But ya, Wolf surely will not be a good influence on Rin, much to Mausier's displeasure. It will be interesting tho if the duo gets split, and Rin must depend on someone like say Wolf till Mausier comes to the rescue

But hey, at least on the bright side Rin doesn't have to worry as much that some pretty gal is gonna steal Mausier from her like she feared with Vex XD as we already know, jealousy nor sharing are not on her strong suit 'swings at yer noggin'

@TSO: I just realized that.. heh.. I like Rin's title :P Also, all in favor for a petition to remove one word from TSO's title? I like the sound of just The Oddity?

Yeah, I gotta agree, having a two word title after all the one worders really strikes a dissonant chord with me.
