If this is a double-post, my apologies, I had problems with site. I've been enjoying the game for almost a week now, still getting my sea legs if you will. Did they actually leave AutoMove out of the game? I can't find it. That was one of my favorite features in both Oblivion and Skyrim. I don't understand why they would intentionally leave that out. I'm hoping that it's renamed maybe, but I've been up & down the list of controls, and I cannot find it.
Thanks,
Frank

It's an MMO, so auto-anything is generally frowned upon.

Re: Is AutoMove missing from ESO?
Thanks for the responses...
Legoless - I didn't realize that auto-functions were frowned on in MMO's, as this is my first, other than a few weeks with D&D Online. What's the reasoning behind that?
SarthesArai - you're my new hero...they called that AutoMove in both OB and SK, and AutoRun was to toggle between walking & running, which is now Toggle Walk/Run. I have to admin that it is more descriptive, but they should've left AutoMove as it was before, instead of renaming it to AutoRun. Oh well, I'm just glad it's there. Now I gotta figure how to juggle my bindings, because my AutoRun MUST be Q <g>...(muscle memory, y'know)
Thanks again
Frank

Re: Is AutoMove missing from ESO?
Any kind of tool-assisted action is against ESO's terms of service. So if you get caught using skill macros or an autoclicker or something, you could get banned for botting. The autowalk is obviously fine though if it's in the base game.fgoron2000 wrote:Legoless - I didn't realize that auto-functions were frowned on in MMO's, as this is my first, other than a few weeks with D&D Online.
