I'm 50/50 on this, but I understand where your coming from. Skyrim is a very mountainous region, contrast that with certain parts of Morrowind that were very hard to traverse. The use of water and mountains are viable boundaries in-game much like they ar in the real world. Its rather annoying in TES when the boundary is nothing more than an invisible wall, look at Oblivion for a good example. Depending on where our next setting is, we may or may not see mountains at all.Leliel wrote: I would say to remove all of the unnecessary mountains because the game has more frickin' mountains than actual settlements, or at least introduce a proper mountain climbing skill other than using them as path blockers.
But yes, it would be very nice if they found a way to add climbing as a usefull skill, if of course with clear limitations. It wouldnt just be grand for the open world travel, but for soe dungeon design n caves too
I of course would of loved to have seen larger settlements n populatio within skyrim. It was always something I felt lacking. I understand the desir for more unique npc's, but I'm fine with filler n place holders
