GWN: ...Harry...So far, the only reason i can think of to why he is humour mcghoulson is that he is no longer sane...Insanity. I hope i can keep him alive. Although, i can see him just causally walking up to someone, blowing their brains out and remarking on how his coat will stink for a while as the result of it.

Harry is..... The Anti-Lodds!

See me after class. --You say he is the anti-Lodds, but I'm seeing some recurring thought patterns. Nutty ghoul attempts murder. ...Even beyond any influence on Rick's part, post-apocalypse Canada is going to become HEAVILY anti-ghoul.

I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing it that much either. If he was the Anti-Lodds that would be really interesting but it doesn't come across as that, at least not yet. Lodds was very violent, rude, hostile to others, agressive, greedy, knows nothing about military tactics despite somehow being a Captain and just generally a jerk. And with how you made the character in terms of character sheet it seemed like being a foil to Lodds is what you were going for, but not with how you played them. Harry runs people over and laughs when he's almost killed and witnesses murder. A foil to Lodds (if that's what you want to make) would be nice, polite, welcoming to strangers, not very aggressive, charitable, caring and emotionally vulnerable.

Compare Dick and Viktor in KT who kind of feel like foils. Not that they were made that way, it's just how it worked out. Sure there's how Dick is more up close and personal fighter, Viktor has a sniper rifle, Viktor is well educated, Dick isn't, whatever. Those aren't really that important. In terms of how they act as people, Dick and Viktor are more or less opposites. Dick is very up front, he says what he's thinking, he's direct in talking to people, acts in the moment just doing what comes to mind as opposed to thinking all his actions through (which Viktor chastises him for) and for the most part seems to be very honest. Viktor on the other hand lies constantly, is far more prone to thinking things out in full as opposed to spur of the moment, isn't up front with his true intentions, manipulates people and talks to them and interacts with them in such a way to try and get what he wants.

Also on the whole I advise against "he's crazy!" as justification Chaotic Stupid Fishmalk style character who's just zany and random. If you want to play a character with PTSD (which I think is what you wanted to do with Lodds,) then actually play a character with PTSD. Don't just make a "isn't he so zany" character. For example, I might have [&@%!] it up (other people should really be the judge, if I did screw it up sorry) but playing Chris in Blacklight after his girlfriend died I wanted to have someone suffering from depression. So he wasn't sleeping well, constantly felt exhausted, was more reckless, felt more hopeless, didn't really care for his pastimes anymore and felt a very extreme sense of guilt towards himself and blamed himself for bad things that happened which were outside of his own control.

To be fair, even i don't know why Harry is er... Harry. Crazy was just a possible reason but i probably just go with the He's Harry. Or rather He's The Harry and will be a mystery. Until i ruin it via a cheap DLC pack.

To each their own, and some of your characters have been amusing...but I think you would be better served in future RPs, not just thinking up a character concept, but thinking up your *character*. That you don't know why your character is what he is, is likely taking away from what could have potentially been a 5 star character. His reactions and his speech seem to be more TSD being TSD, and less Harry being Harry. Strive for more definition. Write up just a paragraph of backstory, or even a couple lines, so you can inform yourself of how he would respond to certain situations. "Narrowly escaped a ghoul-hating lynch mob. As a result, very insecure around non-ghouls, prone to blathering when speaking to them." Something like that will add more dimensions to a character, Harry or otherwise.

It's not even me playing myself as Harry. It's just a bit odd but yeah, i will see if i can write down what Harry is and see if i can turn him into a 5 star character. Then proceed to develop a Dovah Prime to squash Baloth Kul after Harry is killed by Rick.

Hey folks. You know what I like? Musical themes. Character themes. So, in a fit of boredom, I looked over all (most) of the characters in TA2 (well, the ones in Windhelm that I'm in charge of anyway) and chose lyric-less songs I felt would fit as a 'theme' for that particular character.

Let this be a font of discussion! Talk about it! Tell me why I'm totally wrong. Give me what you think your character should have! And of course, have fun listening!

Absolutely perfect.

Fun Fact: The current Dorian isn't the original. When I first started on my sheet, I had been really into ASOIAF. Dorian's first iteration was actually under the name Dorian Thorpe and I took a liberal amount of inspiration from Jon Snow, hence the whole [&@%!] thing, the cloak, and the similar appearance. Thorpe was more of a knight than a rogue and he didn't use magic.

But late into his development, I decided that I didn't want to play a strictly "good guy". So I started drawing a bit from another [&@%!] in the same series: Ramsay Snow. I changed the surname because Thorpe sounded too serious and stern. If I'd kept the original character, this probably would have been his theme:

I personally tend to make characters that have some of the same beliefs, mannerisms, etc. that I do, or am at least comfortable with. They also tend to have things I find cool. And like always, there are things my characters would never do as I would not possibly do or do not get at all.

Also, anyone feel that Zudeel is a bit Suelike? Or is it just me?

Way too early for me to judge Kat, or Zudeel. You have plenty of time to characterize Zudeel, and as you play, you'll find a groove for him. You might find (as I have) that while you might have specific plans as to how your character thinks, feels, and reacts, the input of the other PCs, and the story, will greatly influence, inform, and possibly change how your character will behave. So he could start as a Mary Sue, but as he adventures, he may get wilier, wiser, he might become bitter, he will evolve.

Harry was a fun character, if a bit of an excuse for me to be a silly bugger at times. Shame that i made the colossal mistake of not stealing a boat. I wasn't thinking outside the box and more or less doomed him from there. My next character, is more down to earth and should get along with Rick. I know, i know. i'm supposed to have the most hated character in Kerr RPs but i am rebelling!

RIP, Harry. Or, you never know, maybe in true action movie style, someone will shoot the rope and save him, then charge in on a (mutated) horse and whisk him off. It's unlikely, but, you know, stranger things have happened.

For your next character, you could make a person who doesn't have a Rick obsession. Or maybe be romantically attracted to Rick. Somethin unexpected.

After your post I've been trying to find a theme myself that fits her. This is the first one that popped into my head and it's the most suitable of everything I've considered so far I think, though I'm not positive yet if it's really the most accurate theme for her.

I'm not part of TA2 and know nothing about your character, but how does this sound in terms of mysterious music? It's Jeremy Soule and the soundtrack for a Fantasy RPG, that's about as TES as you can get.
