Is it possible that the Hollow City in Coldharbour might be the lost city of Mir Corrup ? Im pretty sure the Hollow city is from Cyrodiil from the beginning, by the looks of it. We do know it was an Imperial settlement ust like Mir Corrup, that have been around since at least the finals years of the First Era.
Could this hollow city be Zenimax's own sublte way to tell us what happened to one of the most legendary of the lost cities of Tamriel ? Tell me what you think.

I don't think so. Mir Corrup sounds like a contemporary city, while the Hollow City is ancient.

I speculate that it's Dellodil, since there's a book about that in the game, and it fits the description better.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

It might be Nibenean, but the Last King of the Ayleids helped defend it. Definitely from the early Alessian period I would suggest.

Hollow City is never once explicitly called an Imperial City. You might assume so because of the style of the buildings, but it's not so cut and dry, since much of Imperial design was borrowed from the Ayleids. It could be either. I certainly never saw any Imperial churches with a huge shrine to Meridia in the middle of the chapel, for instance.AngryNord wrote:That's an Ayleid city, Hollow City is ImperialPilaf The Defiler wrote:I speculate that it's Dellodil, since there's a book about that in the game, and it fits the description better.

I was quite positive that Cicero Eudoxius claims to be one of the original inhabitants of the city, and calls it Imperial if you talk to him before restoring the place.Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Hollow City is never once explicitly called an Imperial City. It's possible, but that still wouldn't explain why it seems to have a shrine to Meridia. Unless some early Imperials inherited Daedra worship from the friendlier Ayleids.

Re: ESO Hollow City = Mir Corrup ?
I'd say that's very possible. If the Hollow City is Delodiil, then its Ayleid population must have either fled or been integrated, but the humans would likely have remained Meridians. The wiki page actually has a very good summary of what we know about that vanishing city.
