Great Gate's Last Ditch Effort to Kill Me

Post by Koyorimon »

So I just closed the Great Gate for the first time. And as I'm surveying the area before I give my sigil stone to Martin, I notice a sack sticking out of the snow slightly. I go to investigate and it says "Loot Bag". I go "...", wondering why the hell would that be here in the middle of the snow! So I check inside it, and it has one <Missing Name>, and 13 Steel Arrows.

The photo is kinda crappy, but it's there.

I suppose Mehrunes Dagon is trying a last ditch effort to get me to die by having me loot corrupted data. XD

Each cell has a limit of how many items it can hold, and loot bags will appear when there are too many items in one cell. I don't know the exact number of items, but in my experience, loot bags are rare to be seen in Oblivion. In fact, I cant recall seeing a single one in my game, so it has to be alot :)

For the <missing name> thing, I have never heard of it before. It might, as you say, be some corrupted data.

Lol. The <Missing Name> item tends to only be seen when you mess with the game. They usually appear in the inventory of cloned characters. I know very little myself, only bits and pieces of what I've read when learning about cloning and such.

Either way, you should *never* pick up a <Missing Item>. They'll mess up your game, old school.

Even though it *is* the "Big Battle", I don't think there were that many items floating around the area. On an old file from a year ago, I had a room full of weapons. Some of them would start disappearing, but that's about it.

No, I don't have any. I've seen them but I've never picked one up. Even if I didn't know about it, those kinds of things set of alarms. Ever since Missingno...

[tangent] I always thought that the second Pokemon movie should have had a similar plot to the first one except that instead of Mewto, the villain (or Sealed Evil In A Can) would have been Missingno.

The plot would basically be that Ash and Friends investigate this secret government research project to make a pokemon doomsday superweapon, and eventually they break into the facility where it's being hidden.

They use badass pokemon to threaten their way to the Big Metal Door, and a scientist tells Ash "Look kid, don't open that door. You do and it'll break the entire universe."

So of course Ash opens the door to the chamber where Missingno is being held and oh man they behold this rectangular cosmic horror. He reaches for his belt.

"No, Ash! Don't be stupid!" Misty pleads with him.

Ash just squints at the creature and pulls out an empty pokeball.

He throws it. It opens with a flash. The universe is ripped to pieces in a five million dollar effects sequence. Fade to black, roll credits, cue theme song. I wanna be the very best, the best there ever was...
Help? Help with what? They don't make a cure for stupid. You'll just have to play through the game all over again. - Butterknife

Don't pick them up or they'll make your game basically unplayable

It's not my fault if you don't have the capacity to appreciate great movies, noob.
