Hello,
I'm in need of a little help. Assuming anyone on here has played (or ARE playing) the Dawnguard storyline on the Dawnguard side, I'm in the middle of looking for a second enchanted Rune Axe - and I always found it in that cave between Falkreath and Riverwood, but since I already beat the cave outside of Riverwood, I'm not sure if the secondary Rune Axe is going to be there. Any suggestions ? (I'm on my PS3 version, for the record.). I used to always find it in that cave outside of Riverwood - between there and Falkreath in a cave where a bandit is standing just outside of the door waiting on anyone to trespass. EVERY single time I got there, there was always a second axe, but not sure if it'll be back if I went back. Crap. I hope the dude in the Dawnguard castle will sell them after I return there.
Secondary Dawnguard Rune Axe location ?

The Dawnguard Rune Axe? Are you sure you don't mean the very similarly named Dawnguard War Axe? If you do mean the War Axe, then yes, it will be for sale at Dawnguard HQ; if you actually do mean the Rune Axe then I can't help you, I've only ever seen one and the Wiki say that it's unique.

Re: Secondary Dawnguard Rune Axe location ?
I already beat the Dawnguard storyline (And helped cure Serana's vampirism, to my own shock and surprise, LOL !!!
), so I didn't worry about it. Thank you, though. Now that I destroyed Harkon's sorry tail, I now wonder what I should do : Either continue work in the Thieves Guild, work on the main storyline (I've not even done the Thalmor Embassy infiltration quest yet) or just go looking around for places to destroy, since I've already beaten the Dragonborn DLC - and now technically destroyed the Dawnguard DLC, LOL. OR, I could at least work on getting some of my houses built. Not sure how many holds I have left to try to become thane in besides Windhelm. Have been neglecting starting the war because I don't know how to get the negotiations on High Hrothgar to initiate, sadly, since it's been so long since I did that quest. I was thinking how I wondered if the negotiations would still get to occur if I were to betray the Stormcloaks to turn in that one item that "Jarl" Ulfric originally wanted me to get after initially "joining" the Stormcloaks to jump ship to the good guys (Imperials). Only thing that sucks is that I can't purchase Hjerim until the war is over....
