Vampire Cure, odd situation. Haven't seen this on forums

Post by GernBlanston11 »

Hey guys and gals, I'm frustrated!
I've been a vampire in this game for oh I dunno about three months. Getting nowhere, completely fed up with how little I can do. Also I haven't seen this game's graphics during the day in forever. It sucks.
I've already killed Vincent Valleri and all those dudes, so all bets are off for that. "I'll need to look elsewhere for more information on Vampirism"
I killed Hindaril (ashes didn't come up in my inventory if I remember correctly, but I was still able to travel to Drakelowe and give them to Mellisande)
I got the dagger coated in Argonian blood (same thing with the ashes)
Got the soul gems.
Only a couple more things which include going into the damn Oblivion gate where I'm sure to be fried in an instant, and finding those silly little flowers. And the garlic.

Every time I walk into Drakelowe, Mellisande tries to kill me. Draining my power shooting fireballs at me summoning this huge beast. I can yield her, then talk to her about the quest but she's of no help because I already have all my necessary information.

I'm unable to wait inside her house, because I'm somehow trespassing even after talking with her and promising to collect her massive list of items??? Whatever

Is my only option to wait it out until around 7-8 pm then fast travel and hope I get what I need in time? I'm just sick of being a vampire.

Help!!

If you have/acquire the DLC for that Crimson Scar lair, one of the furnishing upgrades provides a cure.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

If waiting outside Drakelowe is a problem, go take shelter in a nearby dungeon. You don't need to go into the Deadlands to find bloodgrass - you can buy it off alchemists or find it outside certain Oblivion Gates instead. The Wizard's Tower DLC also gives easy access to the plant.
