Quick build upgrade to play skyrim/oblivion at high quality

Hi. Want to get back into skyrim/oblivion playing on high quality (maybe ultra?) with mild-moderate mods (just standard ones really) without worrying about overheating and performance issues. My current build from 2011 was able to play skyrim on low-medium at mostly 60fps but got pretty hot.

Is gtx950 the best bang for buck? I'm told that's pretty much all I need to upgrade. Going to get an evo SSD 850 as well I think.
