Re: What are you playing at the moment?
spoiled with party-based rpg's right now.
right in the middle of a nightmare templar playthrough of the Dragon Age trilogy (no mages allowed), Wasteland 2 comes out on the PS4, and Sword Coast Legends arrives on PC. I'm never this loaded with things to play, and two weeks before Fallout drops? that's me booked up until christmas.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I've been exploring the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout:New Vegas:Ultimate edition. Tis a fantastic game and i truely feel that this should have been Fallout 3. I mean, i loved Fallout 3 but looking back, it's kinda lazy and fails to be a proper Fallout game. (And no, i have not been on No Mutants Allowed or part of the "F3 suxs, you art wrong" crowd. Tis just my opinion on it. I'm a melee focused courier that uses guns for range and am currently level 20. I've started act 2(which is just where you get into Vegas) and have decided to side with Mr House. Granted, how i'm going to handle Veronica not shoving a power fist into my head will be interesting but i suspect if i leave her behind during a certain quest involving a certain faction, i can avoid being forced to kill her. Despite my fears of it being a lag fest, crash fest, it has preformed rather well on PS3. I've only crashed 3-4 times in 25 hours. I do believe i've figured out a way to avoid crashes and that is when the game goes from being a game to a slideshow. It is a pain in the arse to save but it avoids a crash. I reinforce my claims that Cazardors are utter [&@%!] as they are annoying. Think of Cliff Racers, add poison to their abilities. Granted, they are usually found in packs of 5 but they can kill you quickly as i think, the posion stacks! Their main method of attack? stinging you!
I do intend to start Dead Money soon but just waiting for when it feels right, along with having my core skills at 75+. (Repair, Banter,Melee and Speech)
A fun fact for everyone: New Vegas was developed within 13 months. :O Rather crap on Bethesda's part for giving Obsidian a short target but the fact that we got a fully fledged RPG is a statement to Obsidian's abilities.

After a Metal Gear Solid V break, I'm back in Dark Souls: Scholar of the First Sin.
Game is very easy compared to Dark Souls, I've beaten three of the last four bosses on the first try. Two of those bosses were apparently two of the main four bosses too.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Can you not buy the DLC? Mine didn't include any of them either (I got it for $18, haha), but if I wanted to, I could still download them from the Xbox store. What's stopping you from getting the content yourself, if you want it?

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
well i don't like buying dlc separately especially since the game of the year edition is like $15 and it has all the dlc. lesson learned for me though, wait until the goty edition is released

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Been playing a lotta Undertale which is a very good game that you should play too. You can have unlimited dog residue in your inventory, date a skeleton (or try to), have a big goat monster (me) as your stepmother, be on a TV show with a really hot robot, be friends with a weeaboo murder fish, and many many more. Also you will cry.
Here's a nice bit of the soundtrack:

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Still Fallout:New Vegas and it's cousin, Fallout: Oh come on, stop with the slideshow! Hate it when all of the frames just up and leave thus leaving me with the choice of having to force a save via a very delayed start menu and quitting to the XMB(dashboard). Tried fighting in the slideshow and i am never, ever doing that again! It is impossible as the AI seems to be able to operate at a few frames quicker then me.
Thankfully, the lag is not that common and just an inconvience.
Completed Dead Money and Honest Hearts.
Here are my thoughts on Dead Money.
It's an excellent addition and really does punch any Courier that relies on firearms or energy weapons in the face. It turns into survival horror and the Ghost People are a welcome challenge although it is a bit tedious after a while due to the limb removal aspect being the only way to kill them. You're more or less going to be frustrated if you don't have any ammo and a low melee/unarmed skill. Sure, Dog eats them but i shan't say more. I do wish there was more to do after the main quest as there is a grand total of 1 sidequest. Sure, there's a few challenges but usually, most people will want to get out of there due to how much loot they have. Oh and it's not worth grabbing the loot in the final part as there is literally no-one who can afford to buy it. It's also the heaviest thing in the game if you grabbed all of it and you will die as you will most likely get overencumbered.
Thoughts on Honest Hearts.
Tis good although the novelty of being a mostly untouched natural park does wear off after a bit and the main quest is short. Exploration is the usual thing and does reveal some interesting backstory on one of the tribes along with what it was like to survive the Great War. The new weapons are so-so and god help you if you are below the recoomended level! Chances are you will die due to the high level weapons used by the White Legs. From Riot Shotguns to Anti-Material Rifles(the most powerful rifles in the game). There is also Yaoi Gui and they are not the pushovers they were in 3. Basically, they are back and here to eat you. Giant ones, pups and well, the giant ones are tougher. Green Geckos can be a nasty surprise. But yeah, it does kinda suck once you have completed the main quest as every single named character leaves. No side quests can be completed or started and apart from looting purposes, i suspect many just up and leave it.
Next, will be the cheesy B-film love letter that is Old World Blues! After i've done a few quests in the Mojave, it's off to Big MOUNTAIN to do SCIENCE with SCIENCE! and the even BIGGER VERSION OF SCIENCE!
Then Lonesome Road and soil myself when i face irraidated Deathclaws that regenerate health, irradiated marked men and all of them attacking me at once in a radioactive crater. Basically, the "OH FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" part of New Vegas.
Provided, the save doesn't go "Screw this, i'm outta here."

I played through Life Is Strange and I loved it. Of course I also really liked The Walking Dead, Heavy Rain and Until Dawn so clearly I dig this style of Adventure Game.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Realised i wasted too many perks with my 80 hour character and elected to restart. Plus, the entire build had become derailed by guns to the point where melee(the main core skill) was pointless. Realised i was burning out on Fallout:New Vegas so i donned the cowl of the world's greatest detective by playing Batman:Arkham Origins. Tis a fantastic game and I loved what they did with Bane. I can tell that they were inspired by Nolan's films due to the looks of Bane and Batman. Started Arkham Asylum after finishing Origins and yeah, the gameplay is not as enjoyable as i remember it to be. Mainly due to both Origins(with it's slightly slower gameplay due to Batman using Batarmouredsuit) and City being the refined version of Batman's ability to batbeat everybatthing into an inch of their batlives. Would love to see more Batman games by Rocksteady but i think they got burned out by the time Arkham Knight was developed and AK's boss fights suck! I mean, they really do suck as it's all Batmobile fights instead of every fight being unique. (only know this from reviews).
Considering playing Far Cry 4 once B:AA is finished.

Metro 2033 Redux: Not a bad game, good atmosphere, solid shooting mechanics. Near the end, but I'm gonna get Fallout in the next 24 hours, so I doubt I'll complete it.
Morrowind: Reinstalled it for nostalgia, crazy how quick I became re-immersed in the world.
Chrono Trigger: Dang, this game is fun! And has a crazy good OST to boot!

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
After spending a few weeks as the goddamn Batman in Arkham Origins, Asylum and City, i have gone totally insane and gone into Saints Row IV.
With the Arkham games, i've completed the stories and they are all on the backburner. I do feel very sorry for Harley Quinn due to what happened in City and what happens in Knight.
Just focusing on riddler trophies in City and Asylum. Data packages in Origins(although, i may just delete the save and do a new playthrough later this year.
With Saints Row IV, i forgot how much fun it is and it amuses me when i play klassic FM. There's just something about the over the top action being accompanied by classic music. Oh and i intend to try to 100% it before the story is done. Also, the 'Merica weapon is rather amusing. Downloaded it last night after realising that the code was still valid.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I'd been getting into Dishonored since finishing Bioshock Infinite last week (and yes, Infinite's ending still destroyed my emotions even though I knew the main spoiler that it involved), and now I've just started Morrowind. Hmm, decisions decisions... eh, I'll probably try to finish Dishonored first, as I'll have access to my laptop indefinitely whereas I might not have my 360 with me from January through April.

That is an excellent choice. Do you have the DLCs for Dishonored as well?

Unfortunately not. I still have some money stashed up on my Xbox Live account, though, so I can always get them if I feel so inclined.

Well, if you're happy with Dishonored after finishing it I strongly recommend getting the Knife of Dunwall and the Brigmore Witches (in that order). They really are very good.

Duly noted. I just need to finish it before I get Fallout 4 and Halo 5... man, I had like no video games to play until a month or two ago, and now there are almost too many.
