Legacy Lost quest...unable to find invisible marker

Post by Mizestang »

I need some help. I'm trying to complete this quest, I have killed the ogers, but I cannot find the marker to update the journal. I've ran around the house 50 times, been everywhere around the place. The Wiki says its behind the house between the tree and the house. No way. Been there. Anyone know how to get that update? I've also fast traveled other places then back.

Thanks

I may have gotten confused between the Sprigon's and the Ogres. I've been searching behind the house all over, hackdirt, Elengl etc.. I haven't received the "I've killed 3 ogres journal entry" I wonder if its more north??? Let me try that tonight and I'll get back to you.

Well, you are right, I haven't killed any Ogers yet, but I also cannot find any! I've been around the whole area, Hackdirt, Elenglir, Shrine, North, South East West, everywhere, nothing. Fast traveled to Bruma, went back to Weatherleah, nothing. Without this, I cannot do the Sins of the Father quests to get my reflect damage shield. Any ideas on how to lure these things to me? :?

Your only option may be to load a save and do the quest again.

I would advise waiting a few days and coming back. I had a similar problem where only 2 were around. After few other quests I stopped back by and there were three there. Whack, whack, whack, journal updated.

Try going inside Weatherleah and coming back out. Believe it or not, I did that once and nearly tripped on one on my way out the door.

How do you trip on something 3 times your size?
