How can I complete the examination? Since I received the quest from Neloth, I have killed 2 forsworn briarhearts. However after killing them I only have the option to "search" and loot the body; no option to "harvest" appears as the wiki says it should.
What should I be doing?

Sounds kind of like the White Phial bug. hmm.
Have you tried dropping all of your briahearts and then killing another briaheart? (You already have? Darn, onto the next fix then.) You could head back to Neloth, and make sure you have his memory spell. (You're sure you do? Onto the next fix.) You could get the ring of Namira, see if that works. (That didn't work either eh. Next!) You could do the other basic stuff: Wait 30 in-game days, do some sidequests, etc,. Alternatively, if you're on PC, you could use console commands.
