The Crystal Maze - A logic puzzle adventure game

[The SheoDovah]

Hidden:

"It's the bees! THEY'RE IN MY EYES! NOT THE EYES! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGH" Fluffy yelled as a horde of bees attacked the trio.

"Yeah... I ain't touching that." Fluffy remarked as he move away from the box.

Hidden:

I changed my post, fyi.

[Aarah]

Kirito made the wooden box slightly damp by spraying it with some bug spray. The buzzing could still be heard.

Hidden:

If no one wants to open the box, you can head back to where you chose left or right, and go right instead, if you want.

[The SheoDovah]

Fluffy kicked the box and quickly ran away from it.

[Aarah]

In kicking the box, Fluffy shifted its lid slightly. From the small gap now present, tiny black insects began to flood out. They swarmed towards the group and began angrily impacting their bodies.

"Well crap," Kirito said. He sprayed himself with the Bug Spray while backing away from the box.

[The SheoDovah]

Fluffy ran as fast as he could to get away from the insects.

[Aarah]

Kirito: The insects retreated from Kirito -repelled by the bug spray.

Fluffy: Some of the insects chased Fluffy as he ran away. He soon reached the point where he could turn right, back towards the study, or go straight on, down the other passage. Equally, he could stop running and stay where he was.

Hidden:

Anyone can use the bug spray now that Kirito has finished with it.

Kirito grinned and walked toward the box now, wanting to see what it was the bugs could have been guarding.

[Aarah]

Kirito: The box was now free of insects, and Kirito was able to look inside safely. At the bottom of the box there was a strange pair of glasses. One lens was blue, the other was orange.

[Musicman247]

Kirito picked up the glasses and put them on.

[Aarah]

Kirito: As well as looking quite stylish, the glasses made Kirito's surroundings visible with a vibrant colourful glow. The only things to look at in his current position in the maze was the box and the stone walls, floor and ceiling.
Other than the appealing colours, there was nothing unusual to be seen. Perhaps the glasses would reveal more elsewhere in the castle.

Meanwhile, the insects were still around Rigurt and Fluffy.

Kirito sauntered back to where the maze had split off, where Fully had run.

[Walker Jones]

Rigurt finally woke up and saw that his friends stood by the crossroads just like an hour ago.
"They must have been making fun of me while I was asleep, all those little insects... better use this bug spray." he thought.

He was really angry that those two useless dummies are so incompetent without his leadership.

"Fine!" said Rigurt "You don't want to follow my instructions then go right."

Kirito sighed as he went down the right-hand path.

[Aarah]

Rigurt: The bug spray eliminated the insects from Rigurt's presence. Their attack was brief enough that he evaded harm.

Kirito: Bypassing the bugs still around Fluffy, Kirito went down the right hand path. The passageway was long, but he was eventually presented with an option
to turn LEFT down another route, or continue going STRAIGHT ON.

Kirito flipped a coin. If it landed heads he would go left, tails would move him forward.

[Walker Jones]

Rigurt followed to watch Kirito's coin-flipping magic.

[Aarah]

Fluffy: After a lengthy attack, the insects finally tired of pestering Fluffy. They flew away into the dark of the castle, leaving him with a nasty selection of bug bites.

Fluffy has sustained 1 injury.

Kirito's coin rose in the air and fell back in his hand. He peered at the result: Heads. The coin had decided that they would go LEFT.

Heading down the left path, the group spotted yet another passage branch off to the right, however, a few metres ahead on their current route, they could see another door.

The door looked identical to that of the study and was unlocked, therefore the adventurers entered their second room.

The Kitchen

The cosy glow of a warm rustic castle kitchen came into sight as they stepped through the door. Everyone could see:

A ceramic sink. A cupboard painted red. A cupboard painted green. A stove at the centre of the room with a fire crackling inside. Two sacks. A wooden crate. A kettle. Two pairs of shoes. A wall hatch. A cardboard box. Four black pans.

Due to the special glasses, Kirito saw the room's contents bathed in colour, as before. However, the kettle seemed to shimmer and sparkle with a hidden energy.

[Walker Jones]

Rigurt tried on those shoes to see if any of them fit.

[Aarah]

Rigurt: Both pairs of shoes were too big for Rigurt's feet. They were also very malodorous.

Kirito went to the kettle to investigate.

[Aarah]

Kirito: The kettle was black and very ordinary looking. It was empty inside and, other than the mysterious sparkle shown by the glasses, it appeared to be nothing more than an old fashioned, well used kettle.

[Musicman247]

Kirito picked up the kettle and went to the sink to see if he could fill it with water.

[Aarah]

Kirito: The tap/faucet at the sink made a loud creaking noise for a few seconds after being turned on, before water began to flow out.
Kirito was able to fill the kettle up.
