Murder has spattered the newspapers for the last year, murders of super-powered individuals or even prominent figures. The only thing linking these murders is a series of letters “TDTD” enclosed in an Eye of Horus carved on each corpse. Governments are baffled as to who or what is behind these murders as they differ variously to each other, one would be a complete massacre of a 5 story building where the other would be just one person in the middle of the night from seemingly natural causes.
That is where you come in operative, we at Kerston Intelligence, Research and Incarnation Network or KIRIN for short, have granted you amnesty from what crimes you’ve committed, or recruited you, or even picked you up from your bed in the middle of the night due to detection of an anomaly within your cells. Earth, a world inhabited by humans and his fellow creatures. It has only been in the last 30 years that those bearing SPIGs (Super Powered Individual Gifts), also known as Spigots have emerged into the public, sparking many numerous theories of government controversy, the initiation of the Global Mind Act (stopping people from using ‘I was mind controlled to do X’ even now some criminals still wander the streets due to late implementation of this act.) and scientific advancements. Largely history remains the same, singers that have vocal based powers are even frowned on (it also heralded the cutting of autotune.)
In the last 30 years, (it is now 2022) we have gained cell phones the size of nails, hover boards for the rebellious teens to take to the sky. Spigots with enhanced intelligence and mental capabilities have caused this and more. The future looks bright with the use of fossil fuels being cut down; vegans are now able to enjoy the sweet taste of bacon without any animals being harmed.
Prominent Figures:
Jack Kormin – Now in his second term as President of the United States he has successfully managed to stabilise the economy while turning the US into a Corporatocracy, where money rules all. His reign so far has seemed benevolent yet the poor either rise to be corrupt or fall into a downtrodden dirt street somewhere.
Director ‘Jacobin Nimble’ Jess Nibela – The director of KIRIN, Jess Nibela had come from rather humble roots. The director of KIRIN is noted to being a rather quick thinking person. Their moniker ‘Jacobin Nimble’ apparently more refers to their mental ability than their physical due to eyewitness accounts.
‘Rainbow Fox’ Rowan Jerlinson – Rowan is one of the highest profile Spigots around, and his powers help. A photokinetic of the highest known tier ‘Rainbow Fox’ is with KIRIN merely for research and aid purposes however he picks the easiest missions to do.
Professor Allister McGoni – Allister McGoni is the leading head of DOS (Determent of SPIGS) An advent protestor of the lack of Spigots registering their powers and their status, what he researches is entirely unknown yet it has something to do with genetics.

CHARACTER CREATION!
Now power ground rules – Nothing like universal (concept/non tangible) such as time power, gravity, memory… at least not yet. To be frank I’d like for you to pm me about the full nuances of your power or talk with me in pm or on skype or whatever if you’re stuck on a power or think yours might be too overpowered. I’m here to fix that, easy but don’t feel like you have to do a flashy power.
Characters – You’ll probably be given codenames. You can leave them blank for me to fill in, or you can take your own, however the first letter of the code and real name must be the same. (Sebastien Monroe would be Silver Star) Appearances for you as Anomalous have the chances of you being rather weird to look at, the default way your anomaly will present itself is your right eye is inverted with the pupil and sclera colours being inverted unless you have another unique way it could present. And
Skills – I was going to go CASPIE and SPECIAL but personally as a DM I don’t like doing things like that, so put down what your character is skilled at, but don’t make a M/Gary Sue. Those die first you know.
Weaknesses – These could be things your power or your character is ineffective against, or it could be a time limit, or it could even be a mundane weakness, or you could just have no specific weakness other than what bothers humans.
