Unable to furnish Skingrad house

Post by insane2986 »

I've purchased Rosethorn Hall, but when I talk to Gunder there is no option to furnish my home. My map marker shows him as the next step in the quest. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

I ran into a problem like this when doing the Infiltration part of the Fighters Guild quest. The quest just wouldn't proceed!

The solution that worked for me was to quit Oblivion completely, then go back in and reload where I left off (or was it the latest Autosave??? Can't remember!).

Anyway, after I did this, the quest moved forward without a hitch-- no explanation for what caused the snag. This may or may not work for you and your current problem, but I thought I'd at least try.

AFTERTHOUGHT: you DID go visit the house before trying to buy stuff for it, right? I think I ran into that with my p.o.s. shack on the Imperial Waterfront.

I have the same problem now. I bought all the stuff to the shack before I went to see it. Now the quest wont finish.

But for mr. insane here; you don't talk to gunder to buy the inventory, you just open his inventory, and buys it from there. You'll find it under "books".
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Whoops, I thought I had checked his inventory but I guess I didn't. It was right under books, thanks :)

Hey! That wasn't a friendly reply. I thought you were a "moderator"? People do make mistakes, you know. I know that I do. You should know better.
