Re: Question about Aedra

Pilaf The Defiler wrote:The Planets aren't just holes. They're physical objects. They interact with Mundus differently than the stars and sun do, for sure. If they were stars, they'd be noted in The Firmament or similar books on the subject. We have to conclude they're distinct objects.
"Three others are called guardian constellations, as they are each governed by a Dominion Planet. The Dominion Planets are Akatosh (eye of the Warrior), Julianos (eye of the Sage), and Arkay (eye of the Thief)." -Temple Zero Society

If you acknowledge that the planets form part of the constellations, suddenly them seem very similar to the stars, "holes" or not. As we see in Craglorn, the constellations themselves (particularly the Guardians) have divine and sentient power.

Huh, I never would have guessed that Arkay would have any relations to thieves.

does that mean that the aedra can invite us (or even kidnap) to their "plane" like the daedra can?

No, because the Aedra are dead. Getting to Aetherial planes is possible, but incredibly difficult. Unless you die or use a portal, getting to Aetherius by brute force requires an infeasible amount of raw magicka. Killing a Daedra on one of those planes is the only way to permanently destroy it though.
