Kharjo

I've just completed his quest and I'm thinking of replacing Lydia with him. However I'm level 56 but I read that Kharjo is capped at level 30. I'm interested in hearing other players' experience with followers when there is a wide disparity in levels.
By the way I'm using Extensible Follower Framework as a follower mod, if it is of any relevance.

Honestly, the level cap of followers doesn't matter. Their health/stamina/magicka is dependent on the player's level, not their own, and their skills are maxed out when they reach their level cap, too. Thus, it makes no difference whether they are capped out at 30 or they're level 100. Their stats would be the same.

Thanks Belthazor. I've been using Kharjo for a bit now and he seems competent enough. At least he doesn't charge headlong into battle at the first sign of trouble.
