Dremora and Daedric Script Question(s)
So, Xayah and Yahkem... I fail to understand how they can be so uncommon or officially, not exist. It seems to me that Kyn and Xivilai would be rather difficult to spell without those two letters (not to mention the numerous named daedra with these letters in their name). So did they use a different alphabet at one time? Is that how it transcribes into Tamrielic characters best? Are there separate languages spoken by these races and from there, they made non-standard letters to use for their identification? It's bothered me for years and I just want an answer that makes sense, or at least, to know I'm not the only one out there wondering how you have races that use your alphabet and have letters in their names not represented.

Re: Dremora and Daedric Script Question(s)
It's not that they don't exist, it's more like they have no direct corollary for the letters of X and Y. Presumably, Xivilai, Xivkyn and other names of that sort, are names given by Tamrielic races, and may not be the name that other daedra call them. From what I can understand at least

Thank you. In writing this question I had begun to suspect that that must be the case but I also wanted to hear second opinions and allow this to be explored.

Re: Dremora and Daedric Script Question(s)
Have those words been represented in Daedric script? We know that those letters have appeared, in spite of all denial, but I don't recall ever seeing Kyn spelt in Daedric. The spellings we have would, in lore, come from interpretive sources, most likely. In reality, we have many speech sounds that are not represented by one letter or are implied without a letter in their written word. I see no reason why they can't get away with dropping a few letters from the transliterated alphabet, even if for purely aesthetic reasons.
His name was Emer Dareloth.

Re: Dremora and Daedric Script Question(s)
There's no logic behind it. It's to make the script feel more "alien", but the fact that Xayah and Yahkem even exist are testament to the impracticality of that idea. "Kyn" is definitely what Dremora call themselves, regardless of the spelling.
