TA2: I actually like Hordor, well more so his potential. If he's to die.. I'd much rather it be to a Dwarven Centurion that took a rude step than some arrow from afar
Also, if your summon backfires.. just banish it<_< that, or summon a bigger baddie.. yea dont do that last bit

TA2: Won't conjured weapons work on it? After all they are technically daedric in quality.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
TA2: I hope Hodor won't die as he has a lot of potential and he is kinda needed to insert some much needed levity into the RP. Just imagine being confronted by whoever is the main enemy faction and for Hodor just to laugh in their faces. "Ay, ye may kill us but ye forget two things, we have a Maurzol, who suffers from pure rage issues, we have a Hodor, who suffers from pure rage issues and known to smite his foes with the power of his beard. We also have a lot of mead and ye should know that when a nord gets a lot of mead in him, nothing stops him from backing down unless he throws up all over ye or passes out."

Yes, but the only person wielding bound weaponry is well over a mile away, and has just switched to a greatsword, which means they won't hurt the crocodile.The-Shadow-One wrote:TA2: Won't conjured weapons work on it? After all they are technically daedric in quality.
I don't think it will backfire necessarily...BetaB17 wrote:Also, if your summon backfires.. just banish it<_< that, or summon a bigger baddie.. yea dont do that last bit

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
TA2., Well, waiting on TLD to post, I did the rolls, and if we exclude the character who rolled 1, the average was almost an 8.
It's going to be a fun post.

TA2: Not a part of this so it's probably not my business, but wouldn't having a large gash in both his ear and his cheek, as well as an arrow wound at the base of his neck, not make Hodor's running away incredibly difficult due to a) crippling pain and b) blood loss? Also, you guys keep up the good work because I'm enjoying this.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
Yeah I get that to a point, but if you lose a buncha blood then you're gonna be pretty weak even if you're as pumped as Arnold Schwarzenegger crossed with the Hulk, surely?

And Hodor is a seasoned warrior. He is also a beserker, granted he hasn't allowed himself to use his abilities yet due to the rage being saved for the [&@%!] that killed his family.

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
The facial wounds are minor, truly.. for now<_< you can lose alot of blood b4 you go into shock. It's the neck wound that's the real issue. Potential damage to the carotid artery or jugular vein <_< thats a hell lot worse than some busted capillaries. If it was a clean cut he would be dead by now

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
Yeah, the neck wound's probably the worst I agree, but any weapon-caused wounds in the general head area are likely going to be pretty serious on account of how important the head is to the body and, therefore, the amount of blood that goes through it (and will thusly be lost through the part a missing ear and a mashed up cheek). But hey, in the end, it's the dice the rule, isn't it?

Re: The General Roleplay Discussion Thread!
TA2: It seems like Eolwyn/Grelok/Tia's group is moving really fast in comparison to Niralie/Dorian. In the time that it took Niralie/Dorian to walk up the street, speak quickly with the Khajiit, and return to the inn just down the street, Eolwyn/Grelok/Tia made it all the way up to the Palace, convinced the guard to let them in, spoke with the Jarl, and then with Felix in the war room, and then made it all the way back to the locksmith (or Ragnir's house, in Eolwyn's case).
