Console command: tdetect for only one actor
Since I didn't want to edit this into the talk page of the console page on the wiki, as it's not actually relevant to the entry, I thought I'd post here in case someone else was interested or could give a second opinion on how to work this out. I wonder if there is a way to turn off detection for only one actor, such as npcs not detecting only the player, similar to the tdetect command, except that command turns off detection for ''everybody''. Which isn't what I'm looking for. I want the pc to be ignored without having to resort to fudging with skill stats and perks. Any ideas?

Have you tried simply tai (toggleAI), it basically shuts an NPC down, individually.

Nah, I want the npc's to function more or less normally, but not notice the pc. I mean, like I alluded to I can jack up the stealth skill and compliment that with all the perks, enchantments, etc., but I wondered if there was a way via console that I haven't thought of.

You could mess with their stats rather than yours I believe. However, I'm more familiar with Oblivion's console myself. The wiki has a lot of useful commands, try looking there.
