Before anybody began to speak Adele, crossbow in hand, vanished from sight as she took advantage of the Obfuscate discipline. "Where's Butler?" the Prince demanded. The bodyguard smiled. "I'm afraid I'm only here in spirit." said the Bodyguard. The Prince rolled her eyes. "Possession. Giving him a message would have done. You always liked to show off, didn't you?" said the Prince. "Yes, well I'm currently on my way to Galway along with Mister Archer, Martina and Bishop Brennan. I've heard there has been a vacancy for a Prince and the city is meant to be a lovely place to spend Christmas. Also it's better than dying here." Mina's fingernails began to grow into large talons. "[&@%!]..." The Gangrel muttered. The bodyguard, possessed by Butler pointed at the four Fledglings who were standing together. "I may have given the order but I didn't carry out the deed. They did, Ashling and Kris, the hairy one helped too I believe. So if you want to kill them to make yourselves feel better, go right ahead. Besides, the more time you spend killing them the less you have to chase me." The bodyguard fell to their knees as the possession ended. They looked dizzy.

The uneasy silence lasted less than a second. "She's a diablerist. I can see it in her Aura." came a voice from seemingly nowhere, likely Adele. Everyone was on edge now, it looked like a fight could break out at any second. "Adderyn, please..." said the Prince in a concerned tone, appealing to the Fledgling she had interacted with most to not turn on her now.

Mumph briefly closed his eyes, breathed in through his nostrils, out through his mouth, and opened his eyes. It was as if he had reached some sort of understanding about himself.

"Doggy." Mumph said, clicking his fingers together to get Omar's shepherd's attention. Once the dog presumably looked at him, Mumph gazed deeply into its eyes, invoking his 2nd level animalism. "Kill those whom I fight."

Mumph spent two more blood points as his back arched back, and his body twisted and cracked into new, Protean form. His machete fell to the ground with a clatter, and he himself fell to the ground on all fours. His muscles stretched and reformed, and he rapidly sprouted tufts of fur. His mouth grew a full set of sharp canine teeth, and his nails into sharp, lupine claws.

As soon as his transformation was complete, he leapt and snapped his jaws at Mina's throat.
Hidden:
I apologize for the drawing out of my transformation XD just wanted to give it flavour. He animalism's the dog at level 2, he pops protean at level 2 to turn into a wolf, he wants the dog to nom on whoever he's fighting (Mina atm), and he himself is going for Mina.

A little rushed. I'm about to pop off to DM some D&D. Will edit if it's kinda meh.

But, ah, Kerr, if it wasn't already your intent, I think the DM posts should wait until each PC gets their move in. This is all happening in the span of a few seconds, and it won't be great if one person does their opening thing, and immediately gets bumrushed by all the Prince's goons. Should be one great big, both sides, bumrush.

Also, Mumph is desperately going to need a drink after this. --Is he at risk of Frenzy now that he's at 0 BP? And is a crazy Gangrel?

"Well. There goes the easy way of things."

Ash activated her Level 2 Resilience ability and drew her shotgun, looking to fire on whoever was closest.

Adderyn

Adderyn activated two points of Vigor and readied his axe to face off against his fellow fledglings. He wouldn't follow two monsters who would lose their humanity soon enough.

"I didn't do it, she forced me!" Kris yelled out, beginning to shroud himself in the cloak of night, to vanish from sight, him and his gun to disappear into the very air. He wasn't fighting at all. Nope!

Mumph used four points of blood, Ash two, Wakefield two and Kris two as they activated their disciplines.
---
Weapon wise the Prince had a wooden stake, Omar a Fire Axe in hand and 44. Magnum in his holster, Viktor an Uzi, Adele her crossbow and wooden bolts, Erik a Sawn-Off Shotgun in hand and machete in his belt and Mina had her claws.
---
Shelly obeyed Mumph's command and jumped atop Omar knocking him onto his back. The Sheriff stuck the handle of his axe in the dog's mouth to stop it from biting him. Omar struggled with Shelly. "[&@%!] dog..." Omar muttered.
---
Mumph's transformation into a dark black wolf took time and as such was unable to catch the Carthian by surprise. As he jumped at her Erik fired his shotgun knocking Mumph backwards to the ground. He landed on his side, still in wolf form. Mina in blind fury jumped atop her fellow Gangrel, trying to pin him to the ground. With little regard for her own safety she grabbed the top and bottom of his mouth and pulled it open. She was very powerful, Mumph assumed she was using the Vigor discipline.
---
Ash was about to shoot the Prince but Viktor pushed her out of the way. Ash's buckshot hit Viktor in the chest and he went flying backwards, smacking the back of his head off the tarmac. He wasn't quite in Torpor yet but he wasn't far off.
----
Mustering his strength Wakefield slammed his axe into Ash's right arm, the one who's hand was on the trigger of her gun. The axe cut in just below the elbow, cutting about halfway through her arm. It seemed her resilience stopped it from being instantly dismembered.
---
Kris was able to disappear from sight as fighting broke out around him.
Hidden:
You just said he readied his axe but I assumed you wanted to attack so I took the liberty and had Wakefield attack Ash.

gg guys
Mumph knew it was already over. They were outgunned and overpowered. Mina was stronger than him right now, he knew that. He did all he could.

His jaw straining against Mina's strength, Mumph tried to snap his jaw down onto her hands one last time, before trying to shake her off and bolt it out of the fray.

Wakefield seeing the durability that Ash had seemingly picked up out of nowhere, he activated a point of Celerity to give him an edge of speed. He attempted to pull the axe out to follow up with another swing, aiming for her head. He'd have some emotional parting of ways speech if he was not scared out of his mind.
Hidden:
I don't think Wakefield actually knows that Ash has the Durability ability, so he is probably just assuming he didn't swing hard enough. Also, yea you were right Kerr I just did not want to perform more than one combat move per turn.

Mumph managed to roll Mina off him and slam his mouth shut on someone's arm, but it wasn't Mina. It was a different Carthian, Erik. And in that hand was a sawn-off shotgun. Mumph's teeth cut into Eric's arm but the ancient vampire pulled the trigger. Buckshot exploded out the back of Mumph's head. "[&@%!]." said Erik angrily once the task was done. He pulled his arm with the weapon back out, transferred the weapon to his other hand and shook his wounded limb. Mumph had suffered Final Death. As Mumph died so did his control over Shelly and the dog stopped fighting her master.
---
Wakefield and Ash both activated their disciplines, Wakefield spending one point of blood and Ash two. However Ash's obfuscation didn't last long as Wakefield slammed an axe into her shoulder ending her obfuscation. "Adderyn! The heart!" shouted the Prince. She was still on the ground but held up her stake for him to take.
---
Kris who was still invisible hadn't been attacked by anyone but he saw the violence unfold.

Using his now-enhanced speed, Adderyn attempted to retrieve the stake from Naoise, rather than just hacking at Ashling until her body submitted out of pity.

With stake in-hand, and Ashling being the only foe left he moved as quickly and with as much strength as he could muster and shoved the stake towards Ash's heart, hoping to push her over the edge and into Torpor.

Kris watched the violence, what could he do? What would he do? Even if he could pick them off one by one he couldn't hope to win, could he? He stepped carefully to approach the prince leaning. Was there anything he could use? Torpor could help the final death would help even more... but that is violent thinking. Kris stayed beside the prince, standing over the prince of Dublin.

Wakefield with a powerful thrust slammed his stake into Ash's chest, piercing her heart. Ash collapsed to the ground and fell into Torpor. "Thank you." said the Prince. "I can see your Aura." said Adele as she became visible again, aiming at Kris. Mina and Erik stared in Kris's direction with anger in their eyes. The Prince stood up and brushed herself off. "Kris, you are hereby exiled from the city Dublin. You have a day to prepare yourself. If you aren't gone by this time tomorrow, I'll call a blood hunt. If you ever return to the city, you'll face death." said the Prince. "But that [&@%!]..." said Mina in an angry tone. "That '[&@%!]' didn't help Ashling's rebellion, if he had, things might have gone differently. I won't kill him for that. But neither is he forgiven. Now, leave." said the Prince, ordering Kris. She turned to look at Ash. "Get her in the jeep. We're going to McNulty's."
---
Later that night...
Ash woke up in a coffin. Her arms and legs were bound together by rope and there was a gag in her mouth. The lid was open and she found herself staring up at Naoise's face, she had just ripped out the stake which had been in Ash's chest. The entire group that headed to the Bulter's estate was in the room with the exception of Mumph and Kris. Also in the room were Anthony Christie, the Prince's Seneschal Aiden a few vampires she had never seen before. "Let it be known, this is the faith of all those who would practice diablerie in my city." said the Prince. She reached in and took Ash's eyepatch off, looked at it in her hand and smiled. "I'm sure you expect me to complement you here at the end. Call you a worth adversary." The Prince shook her head. "You weren't." The Prince slammed the lid shut and nodded at Mina who activated the controls, sending Ash's coffin down the conveyor belt and into the crematorium's furnace. Ash heard a door slam shut and her coffin began to grow hot.

The Prince walked with Adderyn out of the room. "I was wondering, how would you like to be my Seneschal?" the Prince asked.
---

Prince Naoise Stoker
Naoise remained Prince of Dublin for decades to come. Under her rule the city remained stable, for the most part. People at large remained unaware of their society's existence and the blood remained on tap. She named new members of her Primogen and offered Adderyn the position of Seneschal. While Naoise never sired a childe she considered Adderyn to be what she would want in a childe. She also offered to train him in the Coils of the Dragon if he so wished. When the years caught up with her and she entered Torpor to reduce her blood potency, she named her Seneschal the interim Prince.

Aiden Riley
Aiden never wanted to become a vampire and for that reason he didn't. Naoise had offered to sire him but he refused. While he lost the rank of Seneschal he remained an important if almost universally disliked member of court.

Anthony Christie
Christie remained in Dublin for a few more years before departing. He wanted to explore the world in order to increase his own understanding of it. What's the point of living forever if you never do anything? He never returned to the city he once called home. A rumor which spread around the Kindred of the city is that he left to find members of a rare vampiric bloodline with the ability to change one's appearance.

Omar Bauer
Omar died a few weeks after the battle at Butler's estate while hunting the VII. His head was severed by the strange Kindred's sword in one fell swoop.

Adele Dupont
Adele also fell to the VII menace as her haven was burnt to the ground with her still inside.

Viktor Kornev
Viktor served as bait for the VII and worked with the new Sheriff to ultimately defeat the man who had been killing their kin. The fight was close and resulted in the destruction of his Pac-Man Arcade Machine, but they won. Viktor continued in his role as deputy to the Sheriff and bodyguard to the Prince.

VII
The VII threat in Dublin plagued the city for months. Many feared they would all fall to it, much like Galway had. But the new Sheriff was able to track down and kill the VII vampire who resided in the city in early March 2014. Many found it difficult to believe a single Kindred could have killed so many and everyone feared that one day another member of the VII would arrive in the city to finish the job.

Erik
After Omar's death, Naoise approached Erik and offered him the role of Sheriff. While the two never saw eye to eye he accepted, seeing it as a necessary evil in order to save the city. Even after the threat had been defeated Erik continued to be the city's sheriff. He figured someone had to keep the peace and didn't think anyone was better suited to the task than himself.

Mina O'Dowd
While there were only two Carthians left in the city, Mina still became the new prefect, leader of the local Carthians. In time and with new fledglings and arrivals more vampires would join the movement. Mina was also granted a place on the Primogen, while she made no secret of her hatred of the Prince she elected to honour her husband's memory, swallow her pride and do what she could to improve things for those in the city. Thanks to her consul every Kindred in the city was guaranteed access to blood, shelter and money if they ever found themselves in dire need and ghouls were granted certain protections. To fund this the annual tax which was originally collected only to bribe government officials to keep their knowledge of Vampires secret increased. These new laws had a very mixed reception.

An urn containing Ashling's ashes gained a prominent place on Mina's mantelpiece.

Invictus and Lancea Sanctum
The four Kindred moved to Galway and for the entirety of their rule they were the only Kindred in the city. Bulter declared himself Prince of Galway. It seemed to be everything he ever wanted. But it didn't last. It wasn't hunters of a rival covenant that brought everything crashing down after less than two years, rather it was the dual vices of envy and greed. Butler, Archer and Brennon grew to despise each other and fought for control of the city. In the end only Miranda survived and she elected to depart the city, arranging for passage on a boat to New York. Galway was once again vacant of Kindred.

Circle of the Crone
The Circle of the Crone vampire Sharron and her ghoul Liam left Dublin as requested. They traveled to Belfast and there met Sharron's sire and former lover. For a while they tried to reconnect but ultimately Sharron remembered why she left woman. And so Sharron traveled across Euopre hoping to increase her understanding of Crúac, the blood magic her covenant is known for.

Kerry O'Neil
No kindred in Dublin ever saw Kerry again. It is assumed by most that she died. Either at the hands of the VII or from the rising of the sun.

Bart
Bart remained in Dublin, mostly keeping to himself, the way of most Promeathans. He tried his best to keep in contact with Adderyn. He considered him to be the best soulless monster he ever knew.

The Hunters
The teacher who had lead the group fled the city, eventually finding himself teaching English in Laos. His students continued their dreams of hunting monsters for a time but ultimately quit forever after trying to kill a pair of werewolves, William and Emily Gleeson. Their attempt to do so ended with their car being destroyed somewhere in the Wicklow Mountains and they were forced to spend the night in their broken vehicle shivering in fear as the howls of the werewolf siblings who were toying with them rang out across the valley.

Miranda O’Connor
Miranda fell into a deep melancholy after she failed to protect her son Ryan. When the True Fae came for her she barely put up a struggle, she had already lost the will to fight and her reason to live. She was dragged back across the hedge and into the faerie realm of Arcadia. In time she was completely molded into the being her captor had always wanted her to be.

Ashling Lancaster

What could be said of the short-lived rebellion of Ash's design? With an unfamiliar life being thrust upon her, the ill-fated soul tried to cope in the only way she knew; by manipulating those around her. All her life she had been convinced that the world was working against her, and the only way to win was to fight back against it.

In the end, the vampires of Dublin had been at the game of manipulation longer than her, and she didn't fight hard enough. For all of her natural charisma, her ruthless gambles and hard bargains, Ash's unlife culminated in a muffled scream that no one could hear.

Evelyn MacIntyre

Having never been clued in on Ash's predicament, Evelyn took Ash's death as a shock. She remembered the mysterious, aspiring artist; not the ambitious murderer.

Rori Bennet, Noel Lancaster

The Lancaster siblings held no love for their half-sister, and were likewise unsurprised and unperturbed when they learned of her death.

"Mumph"
Too late did the Gangrel realize the calling in his blood. For an instant, before his life was ended, he saw the moon, and how beautiful it might look from under a canopy of trees, far away from the politics and violence of the city.

He was forgotten as quickly and suddenly as he had entered the world of the Kindred. What ever and whom ever he may or may not have left behind, nobody knew. What lives he touched or took, what turns led him to where he ended up. Nobody even knew his real name. But perhaps some things are best forgotten. Some things are best forgotten.

Many Decades Later...

Adderyn shuffled the paperwork around on his desk, his frustration seemingly evident in the way with which he carried himself. Running the city without Naoise was harder than he expected. He missed her on nights like this, because he always thought about his first few weeks as a Kindred on these nights.

After Ash burned and Naoise made Adderyn her seneschal, he decided that he had to give up on his semblance of a mortal life. He faked his death, with the help of the Prince and cut all ties with his family and friends. Wakefield left Michael as well, realizing that either he would have to watch him die slowly or make him into something like himself which was not an option. The only things he kept in his new apartment were his cat Muffins, and the eyepatch that Naoise had taken from Ashling. Apart from that, he spent the next couple of decades absorbing everything he could from Naoise, and doing what www required of him in the best way he knew how. He didn't resort to violence often, and more than once his hesitation came back to haunt him. He became known for his firm but fair tactics in negotiations and when Naoise decided to enter Tarpor, he accepted the position as the temporary Prince bittersweetly.

Muffins
Muffins lived for over twelve years, remarkable for a cat of his incredible girth. Most of his days were spent knocking important documents off Adderyn's desk, sleeping on windows and eating. Eating was his favorite, even long after his master had established that he couldn't wake up during the day, Muffins would yowl for his canned cat food every morning.

Michael

Adderyn kept tabs on Michael for many years, mostly because of his sudden withdrawal from the man's life. Wakefield's death was fairly devastating to Michael. They had known each other for many years and were if nothing else incredibly close to one another. Michael threw himself into his schooling, occasionally waking up in the middle of the night to what he swore was Adderyn's favorite cologne and a stiff neck. He never connected the two as Adderyn really being a vampire but he hoped that wherever his old friend was, he was happy.

He eventually graduated and moved on to found a successful hair-styling franchise with a focus on young men and women's styles. They first popped up in major cities around Europe and eventually a few popped up in the other parts of the world as well, albeit with less success. In the end, Michael lived to be an old man with a happy marriage and a fat belly, and lived happily until his death at the age of 81.

Alexandra

Alexandra was the only person who actually knew Wakefield was still alive, and kept in regular contact with him. She didn't know he was a vampire, and she didn't ask him. They spoke to one another over the phone or through letters. It gave the passage of time some sort of meaning to Adderyn and Alexandra gained a life-long friend out of the arrangement. She never told a soul that he was still alive and went to her grave knowing that at least one person was always there for her.

Ruth Wakefield

Ruth cried when Adderyn died, that much goes without saying. But losing a sibling isn't like losing a parent or grandparent, it was raw and gritty. Ruth shut down after her brother died, distancing herself from her friends and focusing more on her studies than anything else. She developed a unique flair for dark but decadent paintings and became an artist of some renown, her work being featured in magazines. Eventually however, the fame began to dwindle. In her forties, Ruth became an art teacher for a local school and finally met the love of her life. She and her partner Rebecca stayed together for many years until Rebecca died of a tumor. After that, Ruth wasn't long after. Adderyn was at her funeral, anyone who would've remembered him was either long dead or too addled to recognize him.

Sequel plz. And since I left it unsaid let's assume Adderyn chose to focus on the coil of blood.

Kris
As for the exiled clubber? Well he decided to wise up. Kindred played games like business and spies. Well good thing he somewhat took in lessons. He ventured somewhat into the pharmaceutical industry, becoming rivals with his own father. Setting himself in Galway he fashioned a nice comfortable life.

As for his father, he died without a heir and with his business taken over by some upstart company named Kind Respite.

Kris would honour his friends that didn't last as kindred naming his company after their club and the most prominent of their personaility. Their kindness will help others.
