RARE Marriage glitch/bug - Wedding Ceremony

Post by SilentContrast »

I call it rare as online there are very few reports of this issue, and seemingly no actual way to resolve it.

I'm referring to the bug where you turn up for your wedding and Maramel doesn't begin the ceremony. You can stay there for the full 24 hours; all the guests and your fiancee will just stand there congratulating you etc, but the wedding doesn't commence. The quest marker is on Maramel, and in Misc. the objective is "Attend your wedding ceremony."

I have tried marrying 3 different people, with this happening each time.

I have tried waiting outside, inside and at the other side of the map from the Temple before the wedding.

I have tried wearing different Amulets of Mara.

I have advanced the quest using SetStage commands but this still results in the ceremony not starting.

There MUST be SOMEONE out there who has managed to resolve this issue!!!!!!!

No help from me, except I know exactly what you mean. Clicking to talk to someone near me just has "this person is busy" is displayed. I have used CC to enable player controls and I still couldn't move, was just able to show third person.
