Ta2: Speaking as someone - Co-dming is a glorious thing and sometimes I don't understand why people -don't- do it. Because with two of you in charge both of you can have the actions of their character governed by someone other than them and it isn't a DM's pet character just to show off, it actually gets adhered to nicely.
plus if one of the two wishes to break for a while (like I did in TNG and handing it over to Musicman for a day or two) You can honestly find out where you're lacking because the other dm might ask questions that cause you to think "oh okay, now how would that work"

GRDT: Co-DMing has always been an interesting topic to me, largely in part I myself never have played the individual or collective role, or that my general witness has been often limited. It really creates chemistry when to DMs manage to caste npc's that work in synergy, to the point that you cannot help but love the pairings or mere interactions. Anybody recall my duo in C&G? Drastic personas, styles, and yet they went hand in hand.. if I'm not mistaken, it was Ren(Rin?) that drew the love, but without another character I had some manner of control over >_> much of that charm never would of peaked.

Speaking of Co-DMing, I have no idea how long it's been, but it was around when interests for another Madgod RP were still fresh. Pardon my memory to whom the other user was, but (possibly in private) I tossed out the notion of the other being the main DM and using Sheogorath himself, while I would be the so misplaced Haskill to help keep the party in check. Shame bc with the right DM, I wouldn't mind revisiting that idea

Yea, emailed him this morning. It'll probably take a few days for us to actually sort out the details and then a few for Union and I to do the same. I actually see this RP out living the original cast in terms of their forum tenure.

If my renewed stay on the forum is a bit better this time, mayhaps I'll work out something Fallout-related in the spirit of yon odle UESP RP's, and will do some co-DMing with that too.

A part of me is toying with the idea of rebooting the Madgod's realm and would be up for co-dming it with ye, ol' Betakiins. However, due to [&@%!] power issues at home, can't really commit to it at the moment. I naturally blame those filthy mudcrabs. [&@%!] shelled lazy [&@%!]!


Regarding a Fallout RP, i will be up for it. I am up for co-dming it if my arse of an ISP haven't blocked both Fallout Wikis. If they have, i will need a Fatman, TLB Power Armour and a bottle of Nuka Cola.

Oh, lol, I'd started the first draft of the page (and character page) on my computer. I've actually found a whole bunch of tropes for TA2 so far (although I too know almost nothing about TA1 - especially for the character page because I couldn't find a character list on the old thread). If it's okay, Union, I'm going to edit your description to be more concise; like, for instance, while the whole "excellent source" bit is true, it distracts a bit from what the page is actually about- the rp - and seems advertise-y.

So, yeah, I'l make those edits and add what I've written so far when I get home from work. Also, I think I'll add images to the character page: on page 1114 of this thread I'd posted images of the characters made in ESO's character creation.

I take it that TVtropes site has a universal profile(I.e. wiki, forum, ect..)? So I presume i'll be making another cake-obsessed account some time.

Obviously I know next to nothing of the site, and little more the same with editing on wikis(hence why my wiki profile is covered in webs and cake crumbs). I do know there ought to be a discussion linked to the article already<_< so I assume that'll be where we'll commonly chat about said topic

It's simple, you kill the Batman. I know this doesn't help your problem but the freaking Bat is a damn pest!

Personally, i would raise an army of the dead and unleash them on the fools that dared to lose my copy of the Imperial Edition whilst playing Order 66 to really let them know what they are in for. Unless they happen to have a necromancer on their side. I really hate that when that happens.


TA2: I've been reading a lot of tropes on TV tropes for the past month and whilst i can't commit to doing stuff for TA2 tropewise due to me wanting to spend my time playing games, roleplaying, stopping Beta from becoming MechaBeta. I can check the tropes that are being put together and check if it falls under the definition on the site/s. Also, Union, i should have my character ready by monday if the forces of darkness don't take my power at home away.

If you need help, feel free to ask, either in this thread, in chat, whatever. (Discussion pages on TV Tropes are usually reserved for sorting things out when there's edit-warring.) It's easier than a regular wiki, honestly. It should be pretty straightforward from looking at how examples are put on a page to do it yourself, but here's some instructions on text formatting. As for how to think of tropes to put on there... Best way to do it is to find a movie/game/book/etc that you love, and if you spot any tropes that fit TA2 while you read its page, then add it.

I'll look through at times to see if any tropes seem befitting, like Maurzol with 'Hulk Speak' & 'There Is No Kill Like Overkill'(He beat to death a mage with his own arm, bc he could) or with Shades there is 'You No Take Candle' & 'Eloquent In My Native Tongue'

TA2: I always pictured Maurzol with a lot of scars due to him being the Tough Guy Token Guy. That and Maurzol's solution to almost anything is to go "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR! MAURZOL SMASH! MAURZOL CRUSH! MAURZOL KILL PUNY ELVES,HUMAN,BEASTS,KITTENS,MUDCRAB!" Followed by death of said things. Tropes seem to be ok. If i can find any relating to the change of DMs, i will let ye know, Alarra. Just

Also, i'm not allowed to have a nord have the world's longest beard made out of flames am i?

On an unrelated note, would anyone be up for an undead RP? I know they tend to get shot in the head after a few months around here but i think i could pull it off. That and turn everyone into toads if they displease me.

Just remembered that the uncontrollable anger/beserker trope needs to be added to Maurzol and the other Orc characters due to the racial skill being Beserk.
