Have you seen the full series? Or just most of the OVAs

Also, I wished the Abridged series caught up more... By far my favorite version of Alucard.

Does anybody even know what Okaku is? Bc I can tell you it's not what is commonly believed<_< though it is hardly the worst of it

And to further add, and this is coming from a major anime fan whom is even friends with regular cosplayers, that the above statement is true. I understand why it sickens him, and relate that a lot of anime is trash. Don't believe it? How many cardboard cut out series(usually centered on school life) be replaced by another AND still be the same exact show after the switch? Let me tell you... A lot more than we could comprehend

Speaking of my Japanese Animes I saw Cowboy Bebop recently and it was great. Also one of the most satisfying endings to a show that I've seen.

I love Cowboy Bebop. Tied with NGE for my favorite, though CB definitely had the better ending.

I saw the original Hellsing anime and the Ultimate ova. I prefer Hellsing Ultimate as it is suitably more epic with its nazi vampires.

Also, this whole scene:

Honestly Mars you're part of the reason I watched it. I knew you really like it, I had an acquaintance in school who loved it and just generally heard online that it's really good.

Stand Alone Complex is still my favourite but Cowboy Bebop is up there.

I haven't watched an anime in forever. Or a non-episodic TV show. Hell, I can barely keep up with Big Bang Theory, which has only the flimsiest overarching plotline. I don't do well with that whole paying attention thang.

It's a fake quote, but the underlying message is pretty similar. If I recall correctly, he mentioned that he thought he was going ot be part of an industry chiefly concerned with artistic style, but instead got swept up in pandering to weebs who provide most of the money.

I need to return to HU when I get around to it. To be purely honest though, while the original turned to utter crap... It had far better music, to which it's only highlight. I feel the need to mention my top 10 animes>_> Bebop, trigun, and Stand Alone Complex are obviously present.. Hell, SAC still looks like it could of been aired today with that quality. I can think of only one other anime that may be more impressive given that it seems to have unlimited budget for animation quality... I wonder how far it can last b4 showing age

Mars, have you gotten to watch the NGE rebuild? I don't think 3.33 is dubbed yet, but they do the series justice. And Kerr, there is a new Ghost in the Shell series out called Arise

I've only seen the Devil May Cry Anime and Claymore.

Devil May Cry lives up to it's source material although Dante is completely wasted when it comes to battles as he just kills things within seconds. I know he is the goddamn Dark Knight but he usually toys with his enemies.

Claymore is excellent although it is battle heavy and i've heard that it is a bit crap for those who have read the manga.

I did discover that the Green Bird Song from Cowboy Beebop was that song that plays when people are kicked out of windows as a gag in certain videos. And after watching that scene, it is very well done. Sadly, i shall not watch it until i have netflix. Sadly, that won't happen until i slay a Balrog.

Use crunchyroll, the respective producer(funimation for one), or Hulu(if supported) to get a good fix on anime. Netflix is kind of.. Limited

TLD, try trigun. It's an anime classic, and you'll know if you'll like the series from the 1st episode.. No.. First half of said episode. It's a staple series that's a must see for all anime viewers, if only for its significance(much like Akira/Ghost in the Shell or NGE/Bebop/FMA)

When i get netflix and if it is on there in the Shire aka the UK, i shall. I have seen a review of Agent Akira which must have set the record for the most amount of panty shots for a single series. But not Akira. Oh and Ultimate Teacher is worth watching purely because of how [&@%!] [&@%!] insane it is. Again, it was a review of it.
