How about an option where you can just bring a smith, enchanter or alchemist the ingredients to make a weapon, potion, or enchanted item and they do it for you for a small sum of gold? That way role players don't have to break character if they want to play a character who "doesn't know" how to enchant armor or craft a potion or make a weapon.

Maybe (and it's a stretch) make prices for stuff realistic in a TES universe sense. Like make a potion only cost about 5 septims or a piece of armor about 40 septims. Make the gold you find in less amounts and not in every other container. But still have plenty of dungeons with a boss chest with lots of gold.

Bring back degradeable weapons. I like having battles that end up breaking my weapons and armor. Especially if I end up winning.

Make the AI more intelligent. Like if they see a dead body they go into "search" mode and stay that way until they find you.

Bring back ACTUAL disposition. So certain NPCs will attack each other. (One of my favorite moments in Oblivion was when I was in olav's tap and tack and a bar fight broke out between a mythic dawn sleeper agent and a nord :))

Make cutting off someone's head a common kill cam instead of a perk you can only get when you've done 90% of the game. Maybe add a (blood and gore) option.

Make dragons a new form of travel. Like the silt striders in morrowind. And make it like they originally planned in skyrim (be able to ride the carriage in real time) the same for dragons, boats and carriages.

That's all I can think of for now.

These are all good ideas. Especially the third: in Skyrim you could just shoot an arrow in the head of someone. He then search for the one who shooted and, if he doesn't find anybody, he just sit down as nothing happened.
By the way, it would be really good if in TES VI you can oneshot enemies hitting them in the head with an arrow. Of course bosses enemies (such as bandit chiefs) should equip an helmet, which prevents headshots.

It may be because I'm a Mount & Blade fan, but I would really like to have back spears like in Morrowind. Combined with horseback combat it would be perfect.

Yes. I would love some spears and spear kill cams.
Head shot kills too.
Maybe the'll actually add mounted combat in the vanilla game this time. People have been complaining about that since oblivion.

I completely oppose the dragon bit. Idk what's with fans wanting more dragons and Dagon based gameplay and more op dragonborn.. The next installment isn't going to be Skyrim 2<_< a dragon here or there may make an appearance and for good reasons, but they had their spotlight and the next game needs a new star. Some ppl even want ESO to grant every player their own personal dragon, which not only defies lore but spoils their traits, all bc 'it would be cool tho'. I really do hope that if any developers read through any of these posts, mine included, they take it all with a grain of salt and not in some insight as what every fan wants. Though, a reference for fresh ideas is still benefitial.

Oblivion had its gates, Morrowind had the scenery/cliff racers, the next will likely have something that ties in with the region. If in Hammerfell, I say something to tie in with the Dwarven automatons and Yokudans. The Dominion obviously would focus on the Thalmor, and maybe shed some light on Lorkhan. Lastly Blackmarsh seems too exotic where possibilities are hard to judge, ranging from the Hist to potential Akiviri teasers

Anyways, aside from the dragon bit, I agree with a lot of that. The option for real time travel via transport will give rise to caravans that may be targeted. Kill cams need not be perks though should be subject to the player as the same with gore. AI will without a doubt become smarter, maybe even call for help if on alert. Morrowind had vendors whom could enchant for you, so a return and refined mechanic would be great, the same with deposition and weapon condition. Though the gold thing may be good if tuned down some, I doubt to see most goods cheap, not every farmer should be able to pay for iron chestplate the same for 50 breads.. If somehow the armor is cheaper than the later>_> we got a problem

I heavily disagree with the idea of the Dovahs returning in TESVI due to them being the focus of Skyrim and would come off as lazy on bethesda's part. However, if there was only one dovah and a certain one that appeared as an easter egg, i wouldn't mind.

I would like to see TESVI have a stronger narrative as that would greatly improve the franchise by 100%. Skyrim's story was a bit crap if i'm brutally honest as it was pretty much, "You are dragonborn, go here, kill this, here's the blades, kill this etc.." It's rather forgettable as well and anti-climatic. I would like to see several confrontations with the main villian and i want to be able to think of many painful ways to kill him/her. Make us despise them to the point where they become our only focus in the game. Make the mother of all evil [&@%!]. Or go with one that we love and are sad to kill.

Better visual effects for enchantments and have them reflect the power of the enchantment. For example, a weak fire enchantment on a sword will have a slightly glowing orange sword effect whilst a master level fire enchantment turns your sword into the Balrog's sword.

The ability to be a massive unlikable dick to every single NPC. Just because.

The ability to burn down orphanages and do truely evil deeds. Just because.

Lots and lots of settings. For example, if i wanted to roleplay, i would turn on every immersion related setting. Disable health regen and so for. It always was a bit annoying that Skyrim never allowed me to turn off kill cams.

Better kill animations for kill cams. If i'm weidling a giant axe, last thing i would do is put it behind Bandit 2342159232's head and headbutt him to death. It makes no sense.

True Beserker Rage. Red haze, unstoppable until you die. again, just because.

How about the ability to dig up corpses with a shovel and craft a skeleton out of the bones which you can then reanimate? Or get a zombie out of a grave from time to time.

Or maybe bring back working lanterns? Now that I think about it it kinda $&?! me off that they teased you with adding lanterns in skyrim but none of them worked. They're just worthless junk.

I don't see how they can top vampire lords or skyrim werewolves.

I would love to be a wereshark.

Or maybe set it in summerset isle and add an option were you can buy goblin slaves that act like followers. But have a better orders interface. I would love to have a group of goblin slaves mine ore for me while I work on my soon to be skeletal minion. :)

WereSheogorath'sbeards. That is how they can top it. Once a month, you turn into a walking Sheogorath beard with teh power to make Nords jealous within seconds. Altmer fear you. Imperials faint at the very sight of you! And somewhere, Jyggalag wishes he didn't hand over the Shivering Isles to Sheogorath as a result of this.

Lol :)

Or maybe a weretree that can breath fire!

But seriously. I would pay 100,000,000,000,000 for a game set in High Rock :) "we're thinking of setting TES 6 in High R" "Shut up and take my money!"

How about diseases that are actually dangerous to catch. It's just been a minor thing to get since morrowind except for when those bonewalkers would cast multiple damage attribute spells on you.

Werecrodiles would be awesome!

The main thing I want to see in Tes 6 is more spell effects. Maybe not Levitation, but a Vampiric Cloud spell should be possible. Or an inverted circle of protection spell which keeps your enemies inside of it. A freeze time spell would be cool, but it would have to be master level and cost a lot of magicka.

Also, one Shadow of the Colossus type boss battle would be great.

Dragons true nature would never allow them to act as transport for the general public. Even Paarthurnax admits to fighting his natural tendencies of evil on a daily basis. Besides, how much fast travel do you want in a game designed for exploration?

How about something REALLY outragous?

An ES RTS game. 0_0

Just a spin-off ofcourse.

Come on. You know you want to command armies of daedroths, golden saints, mazken, and dremora :)

How about just making NPCs say , you know, NORMAL things when you walk by them? Like "hello" and "good evening". Instead of blurting out their life stories at you?

To how vampire lords may be topped.. Different vampire clans may have different potentials for pure bloods. So we may see another type of 'lord' but look far more distinct and monstrous. Personally, avoided the vampires and werebeasts, I wouldn't mind seeing some cursed undead transformations that only a Daedric prince could dream of. Could very well shift from something closer to a lich, or a being ready to tear foes in two. Something tells me such a thing would have ties with the Worms<_<

In Oblivion they did it. In fact, I'm getting tired of the monologues of PNGs in Skyrim. Really gets annoying after a while.

How about new effects that come with reanimating a corpse. Like give it more health or stamina?

The ability to dig up corpses and build either a skeleton or a zombie out of the bones and parts have the ability to put armor on them and give them a weapon. You know, be an actual necromancer instead of just summoning undead or reanimating a corpse that's just lying around.

The ability to buy camping supplies and set up camp.

Bring back the "Revenant" from Oblivion. I want to make grand soul gems into black ones again.

Bring back banks and give gold weight.

Make it so that if you wear necromancer robes out in public you get arrested. (If it's in a province where necromancy is outlawed or frowned upon.) If not in a province where necromancy is outlawed or frowned upon then give NPCs dialog that at least makes them acknowledge that you're wearing them.

Get arrested for walking around naked for long enough. (Get a warning from the guards first)

That's all I can think of for now.

It would be comical if for once he claimed to be the main villain in true M'aiq fashion "M'aig was once a great sorcerer that terrorized this land, but then he grew bored and went home, so a rat took his place." It really would catch us off guard if this was later true XD

That would be a really good way for Bethesda to get rid of all the horse combat and horse armour talk; just say that M'aiq had a big banquet and ate all the horses. :D

I'd like the world to be more interactive, like climbing trees when someone or something is following you, being able to dig (to find tresures, to bury or find corpses for example), being able to get and throw stones, you know, things to make the game more realistic.

It would be cool if there will be new kind of armors and weapons. Once I get to Daedric, I know I can't have better items, aside for crafted ones. For example, Amber of Madness armor, or some other sort of daedric armors/weapons.

Still want to be able to keep one weapon throughout the game should I choose to. Why not keep dad's iron broadsword from level 1 and end up with a dragonbone reinforced, daedra tempered, elf balanced, dwarf enchanted basass iron sword which handles better than other swords because i only use this one and have been able to tailor the enhancements and tweaks throughout my career? It might not be about maxing on the damage, you might instead improve the way it swishes out of your scabbard, weaves in front of your opponents when you parry, or simply a jedi like display of skill which scares nervous enemies a bit.

and/or

the longer you use a particular weapon the greater your skill can be, when you pick up a new one your skillz are lower. I understand this second approach to my request is actually quite realistic as I have seen and spoken to craftsment who 'break in' their tools (eg a musical instrument or magic wand) and are simply better with them

And for the wizards out there, perhaps develop the oblivion mages staff idea and let us develop a staff which is the source of our power, they might be imbued with some of our spells, or store magicka, or have special tricks only we can use. In skyrim and even in oblivion, they were a bit like rocket launchers, to be thrown away when the ammo ran out or the firebolt staff was replaced with fireball.

the game is big into combat and customisation and i think your main weapons could be developed more fully.

Why not add some dialog that you can actually roleplay with? I mean add multiple lines of PC dialog where you can insult and threaten people. Maybe even add some sarcastic and humorous lines and the ability to do this with EVERY NPC. Maybe even fail a quest because you insulted someone or the guards attack you because you insulted or threatened or even offended someone of royalty by cracking a joke.

It would be nicer than just being forced into a single dialog choice like in oblivion and skyrim.

And it would be godlike if they made certain NPCs travel to different towns on their schedules. Actual schedules. Not "wake up, eat, smith or stand at the store counter for 10 hours, go to tavern, eat, go to bed, repeat." And for non-service NPCs " wake up, eat, walk around a tiny bit of the city for 10 hours, go to tavern, eat, go to bed, repeat." Instead how about having schedules like in oblivion where they mix it up a bit? And have the authors of in game books as NPCs.

Maybe also randomly, and if you stop them and ask where they're headed, they may respond they go visit a relative or so.
