New audio interview with Phrastus of Elinhir
Lawrence Schick roleplays the famous scholar here and answers lore questions. Some of these answers aren't available anywhere else, such as the identity of Green Sap, which I COULD tell you here without having you listen to Uncle Schick, but I won't. That's ruin the experience. Happy listening.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Thanks Pilaf
of the few accounts I've seen of the sage has never left my dissatisfied. It really brings about a new experience getting to hear his character

Interesting stuff, but shame about the lack of transcript. Not really into roleplay myself so I only made it ~25 minutes in.

He was doing a much better job than the two interviewers, who struggled to pronounce common and simple lore terms like Padomay and Ayleid :/

It was the interviewers I was referring to actually. Not my cup of tea, pronunciation aside.

Thanks for posting this, I quite enjoyed although can't say I caught anything profound. I did enjoy the Templar question's answer, it must be said.

Boom ... three weeks later. Needs review. Bunch of issues I want to ask about, but I'm tired as hell.legoless wrote:Interesting stuff, but shame about the lack of transcript. Not really into roleplay myself so I only made it ~25 minutes in.

Re: New audio interview with Phrastus of Elinhir
Thanks ME!!!! I was really looking forward to the transcript!
Also, (I need to get on this) I'll hopefully be officially covering PAXPrime in Seattle over Labor Day weekend this year. I've gone the past 2 years, but it hasn't been official. My discussions with Gina Bruno and Paul Sage were impromptu and with little preparation, so hopefully this year I'll have a huge list of questions to ask, and I can ask them of Lawrence Schick.
So my overall point is, start coming up with ESO relevant lore questions.
In case anyone is wondering, I'm fairly drunk at the moment.... which is why this is off topic.

During the interview, he mentions a "Varmaster" of the Firsthold Orrery. Does anyone know how to spell that?

Re: New audio interview with Phrastus of Elinhir
That looks right. Obviously stems from Varla/Varliance for "star master".Minor Edits wrote:During the interview, he mentions a "Varmaster" of the Firsthold Orrery. Does anyone know how to spell that?
