I signed up yesterday. But I've been on and using UESP since about 2006 / Oblivion days. I was reading the page about the UESP guild in ESO, and was astounded I had either never made an account, or have long since forgotten what it was. Regardless, here I am. Other than, you know, this site, you can find me on ESO, Steam, and Xbox Live. I have a twitch account I barely use, and when I do it's from Xbox One most of the time. I've played Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, and ESO. I tried Arena, but never got out of the sewer because A.) I suck B.) It's just too old a game, I wasn't able to really grasp the mechanics. A + B + little patience = stopped trying. But I'm a lore junkie. I consider myself more knowledgable regarding Elder Scrolls lore than the average person, and love discussing history, culture and anthropology, philosophies of both in-game ideas as well as external suppositions (e.g. where the Dwemer are, do vampires shave and if they do what if they shave their beard off and it looks stupid, can they grow it back or do they have to paste dog hair on their face, or what were the actual details of the process / ritual of the Volkihar vampires (specifically, Serana and family) receiving the "gift" of vampirism from Molag-Bal... she said the process was degrading, does that mean they were raped liked the other purported "first" vampire woman? Or was it something else and I have a terribly dirty mind?)

Look for me on ESO. I like to chat OOC. At the time of this writing, I'm VR6. EP Nord DK, 2H stam DPS. I used to PvP, and may again someday, but I prefer (greatly) to adventure PvE now. See, I rerolled my character the way I wanted to play. I used to play as what would make me good. And it worked well. But I'm more of a big [&@%!] off viking dude than a staff using magic loving girly elf, so there's that. I do well in PvE, but I'm pretty sure I would have to see a proctologist if I tried to PvP like I used to now. At least solo. Which I tend to be more often than not. This makes for a bit of a run-on paragraph, but I will explain anyway. I was in several guilds. I am no longer with most of said guilds. If there is anything that can be said as a generalized statement, it is that on pc, people suck. Not all people. Maybe not even most people. But a lot. An unsettlingly large amount. Some are simply jerks, but a lot are like a metaphor for high school age drama. Cliques, gossip, all the crap that is unimportant, but gets made to be by the bored and the classless. I don't like that, so I don't play with those people anymore. I love the game, love the stories- even though I swear the writers need critical counseling from a licensed psychiatrist. Hate drama. So I play. I look forward to meeting new people, and hope more I come across prove me wrong. Prove there are more good people than narcissistic elitist cynical [censored].

If you've read this far, you're probably thinking "whoah." Well Keanu, I'm kind of an open book. This is for telling you about myself, because I want to stick around. Well, publicly. Holy crepe, guys! How has everything been? Going good, thanks for asking!

The Mods know I walk in a couple times a week just to make sure nothing is broken, and to voice my opinions on stuff, but you guys have gotten like two posts from me in the last couple months, and that's just not cool.

So, I'm going to try to come back and post a little more consistently, if that's ok with you guys. Life is still super busy, but UESP means enough to me to make the time.

Things you've missed while I was gone:

• Still working at a radio station, so not much missed there
• Helping a friend with her Middle School musical as Vocal Coach
• Have written a musical with a couple of friends that will be produced and performed this August by the drama troupe I'm a part of, and then sent off for publishing
• Have lost over 30 pounds and 14 years (or so it seems, I've been told I look 20 again) in the past two months. Went from an XL to a M and feel great!

So that's pretty much it. Been keeping busy with work, friends and church. Glad to be back!
