Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Hi! My name is Jacqulyn, and I decided to finally make an account. I played Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim on PC- only one I was really into is Morrowind. My graphics card recently went out, so I decided to get out my old xbox to play Morrowind. Besides the glitches, and the game freezing if I play for too long, it hasn't been bad. I do miss the mods and graphics for PC, so hopefully I'll be fixing it soon.
I play way too many games and have a problem with spending too much on steam. Age of Empires 2, 1999 emu Everquest, and Morrowind are my favorites.
Besides that.. I'm a 22 year old from Texas. I work two jobs, and my hobbies include drawing, painting, and gaming of course (:
I love chatting and meeting new people, so talk to me plssss

Hey Joonday! Stinks you lost you graphics card, I couldn't go back to the console after playing PC for as long as I have. Hope you enjoy your time here!

Hmm, I've been posting a bit lately but I never formally said hello. So, hello everybody! I've been a lurker for a couple years now and I finally decided to put myself out there and start posting. I started playing TES with Oblivion and have been a huge fan ever since. This website has been so extremely informative and the people that frequent these forums seem like such a wonderful bunch, I really hope to get to know you all better

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Alright guys, I'm out.
There's been a pretty obvious slowdown and I'm not the first person to doubt whether or not he or she will stay here. In the end I thought about it, and thought about what keeps me here. Honestly it's mostly the people and the RP forum; you guys are fantastic people on the whole and I've thoroughly enjoyed meeting the lot of you.
However, with where I'm at in life and in school, I just don't really see the worth in elongating my stay here when there's really just not much to go around. If I'm going to be spending time on the internet, I want to be doing something creative and productive, and not letting people down by not posting in the RP threads for days at a time. I'm not a part of the solution, and thus I'm part of the problem, you know?
It's just a little depressing, and I think the best way to keep myself from constantly checking back and seeing no updates is to just kinda stay away from the site altogether. It just seems like what I'd like to do.
This is by no means a permanent thing; once TES VI comes around and things may pick up, I'll see about coming back. I may pop in chat from time to time. We'll see.
It's been a blast getting to know all of you. I'll be checking my inbox a few times, and though most of those who'd want it have it, if you'd like a steam ID or something to contact me, then go ahead and hit me with a PM.
I hope you all have a good one. I really do.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
You definitely shouldn't stick around if you don't want to be, that's how you burn yourself out permanently. while we love seeing you around, you should only be here because you enjoy the site, it shouldn't be a source of stress for you. See you later Union, the site will still be here whenever you come back.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Very late to this game and forum - I am celebrating or is it the opposite - my 69th birthday Mar 24 1946. Got Skyrim when I got an Xbox in Dec 2012 but never played until Dec 2014 so I've been at this about 4 months.
My first character Alobar the Kajit could not complete the Eye of Magnus quest because the female I was to contact after the death of the Arch Mage vanished and could never be found so Alobar maxed out at Level 58. I then tried a Nord character that got to level 20 and the same thing happened at the College of Winterhold. My current character is a female Breton - the Princess Leigh-Cheri who just reached Level 155 after approx 1000 days of game life. LC is an expert Alchemist, Enchanter and Smith with 18X to 16X Legendary reset scores in those abilities. I am now enjoying walking Skyrim, Solstheim, the Forgotten Vale, Blackreach and the Soul Cairn going from ore vein to ore vein collecting souls, ingots, and ingredients as I find myself discovering new things not noted on the maps (today I found a small Dwarven ruin inhabited by a Wisp Mother high above Peryite & Blind Cliff Bastion and I swear I never noticed it on the map but now see it without a name or label. These little discoveries keep the game interesting even with the repetition.
I have so many things I would have loved to share and discuss if only I had started doing this game sooner. Now it seems the traffic here is on the decline. But I will try to start a couple of threads on subjects that interest me - although I realize they have likely been discussed in the past somewhere on this forum. I hope that will not be a problem.
Thanks to the people who put together this UESP website. I could never have gotten where I am in this game without this site. I keep the computer on UESP with this 40in screen right adjacent to the 42in screen for the Xbox 360 so I can follow the map here as I travel Skyrim there.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
May our paths cross again and be most fair, Union
The slow down and decline in activity in General has been harsh to many, so I understand the need to readjust one's focus rather than force yourself and resent that which you love. Hopefully in time when traffic is about or a new game comes about, your return would be just, and may plenty of familiar faces welcome in hand.
Till then, I wish for you all the luck and joy, and may life be most plentiful. You really were a grand fellow, and if I may a friend at that. Best of wishes and all that, and remember that not just I nor your friends, but uesp itself will always await your return.
See you around, Unionhack

Welcome Vil
I can understand the uncertainties and new experience that comes from joining your first forum. Heck, UESP was my very first forum and may I add the only. If you need any help or have any questions, feel free to reach out amongst your peers or contact any of the mods. Don't fret if things seem overwhelming, I'm sure you'll fit in just fine here
