Could it be for Elder Scrolls 6? Its on the gameinformer website now, although I can't post links on this account.Bethesda has just announced that it is holding an E3 press conference this year for the first time. We know Doom is on the horizon and The Elder Scrolls Online is headed to consoles immediately before, but that alone does not a showcase make.
The news went out to press today, with a similar post available on Bethesda’s website. Of course, no details about what will be shown are included (it’s only February, after all). That won’t stop fans from excitedly speculating, though.
The event will be streamed on Bethesda’s Twitch channel, so if you aren’t sent an invitation, you’ll still be able to keep up with the news. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, but we suspect the speculation will start right about… now.

Bethesda Press conference at E3!
Gameinformer com are say that:
Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
Yeah, Fallout usually comes out in between the TES Games....??? In fact, everywhere is suggesting Fallout 4, not TES VI.

Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
I would be absolutely dumb founded if they announced TES VI before several years after fallout 4 came out honestly. As much as I love TES games I could wait a year or two before another one came out. But I feel like it could be as far as 3 at least before we get another one.

if there is any evidence that they will NOT be showcasing a new engine with a Fallout 4 release, I'd like to hear it and be prepared.

Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
I'm not really expecting it to be an Elder Scrolls 6 announcement, just enjoying speculating really. But there are the odd bits of info out there that suggest its not completely impossible. For example this from the end of January
But granted I'd take all of that with a very large pinch of salt - maybe an outside chance of some early elder scrolls style game play to showcase new game engine?
However, the new technology expo paved way for more solid rumors and we really wish this is true without any more changes. It is not only going to be Fallout 4 according to users at 4Chan but there will be a new Elder Scrolls 6 launched as well. Both games are expected to be launched in the same year but most probably with huge intervals in between.
Possible Job Listings
Bethesda has also started hiring people to work in their new Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 4 projects. They have not explicitly revealed this because it might create more anticipation in the gaming community. Instead, they simply had casting calls made for lead voice actors and an AAA title with an RPG background. All hints point to a possible Fallout without doubt but the company continues to maintain its silence as it always does.
Next Gen Platforms
When it officially launches, both titles will be there on Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles besides the fan favorite PC editions. Once again, the information that we have gathered so far suggests that the upcoming version of the game after Skyrim has been named as Argonia. Bethesda would hardly comment on this but the name matches with all the previous ones that they used for different versions of the Elder Scrolls. So, this might be true.
Director Matt Firor had released an official statement just a couple of weeks ago and he confirmed that people who own the next generation consoles can expect an update before the end of the year. A similar claim has been made by people who visited the CES 2015 expo as well including some lead people at Bethesda game works
But granted I'd take all of that with a very large pinch of salt - maybe an outside chance of some early elder scrolls style game play to showcase new game engine?

While that's all interesting and exciting what I get hung up on is the statement
They imply the name Argoia has been thrown around for a while. Anyone know where this came from?River's Ghost wrote:Once again, the information that we have gathered so far suggests that the upcoming version of the game after Skyrim has been named as Argonia.

Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
I do know where that comes from, let me tell you! It is extremely stupid!
The original source for the Argonia rumors floating is Kdramastars, a website dedicated to Korean soapboxes. It is not a trustworthy source, for multiple reasons. One, they provided a cover of the game that was clearly just the cover for Skyrim to be photoshopped with some fox on it, and is from a website on the Wikia Network which uses it on a game idea article. Two, they claimed that their source was the "Tehran Times". If you are not familiar with it, that is a news source, from Iran. It is an even less good source. They have since changed the mentions of "Tehran Times" to "Tehran Chronicle", it seems, which is also some shady fly by night news outlet. They also have claimed the game has already been announced at EGX 2014, a show that Bethesda did not even attend to my recollection.
The "information" that was gathered was Googling "Elder Scrolls", and seeing a bunch of really shoddy websites copy pasting that initial story. What I'm saying is that every news source that talks about the game being rumored to be Argonia is confirming how incredibly terrible their fact checking is.
So could it be Elder Scrolls VI: Argonia, maybe? It's not impossible, simply due to the fact that the game has to be set somewhere and they may just go the "name it after the province" route again. Is there any proof that it will be? Not at the moment.
Edit: That actually might be the wrong source! As I said, these sites are kind of shady, that's the one I remember seeing pop into my news feed before it started showing up everywhere else though. I will try to confirm where this all came from, and write something about this.
Edit 2: This is the earliest source of that rumor I can find, September 5th. To give you a taste of what that source is like, this is from the first paragraph: "With no news readily available for the next installment in the Elder Scrolls series, naturally, people will click on this link."
Also, River, I added you to confirmed users so you can post links.

Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
Thanks for your post, AKB. I had read about the Argonia thing, but something in it felt off, particularly the purported logo of the game. (Really, a fox?). Now I know it's all hogwash. It's particularly revealing that the source is said to be an Iranian newspaper, of all things. I don't really think computer games get that much press in Iran.
As for the press conference, I really hope they'll reveal something about the next TES game. Of course, it would be the usual marketing hype, but even that could give an idea what's in store for us. It's been over three years now since Skyrim came out, so the development of TES VI should be well underway. But well, we'll see in June.

Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.
Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
I kind of hope it's not a Fallout game, as I don't like that series, but I strongly doubt Bethesda is going to release two main Elder Scrolls titles in a row when fans have been clamoring for another Fallout game for a while now.

Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
Fallout 3 was very well reviewed and sold a lot of copies. Bethesda would be foolish to not capitalize on this franchise. I personally thought it was a fine game, although much smaller and more linear than Oblivion was, IMO. At least it felt that way to me. I enjoyed the mechanics and aesthetics of it very much, and Obsidian's use of the engine in New Vegas was even better, although that's my opinion and the fandom seems to be split roughly 50/50 on that.

Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
I too prefer if fallout 4 is to be developed by Obsidian; NV was the superior game.
My personal wish is announcement of Dishonored 2, though I won't even mind a HD Remaster of TES 3 (hey, it works for Resident Evil 1 & Homeworld...)

Re: Bethesda Press conference at E3!
I would say that the communities negative reaction to Fallout: New Vegas was due to its state at release, with it being extremely buggy and unfinished. The last I remember, Obsidian insiders tend to have put the blame on Bethesda being very stringent with their deadlines for the game. Fallout: New Vegas, one of the largest and most complex games of the last generation, was made in about a year before being pushed out the door. I remember a quote by one of the project leaders saying something along the lines that if they were given four more months, there would have been a properly developed Caesar's Legion, an end game, and proper bug testing.Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Fallout 3 was very well reviewed and sold a lot of copies. I also remember Obsidian saying they want to do a direct sequel to F:NV, so I would imagine that Fallout 4 would be out east, and Fallout: New Vegas 2 will be set out west again.
