Hello everyone,
I have just joined this forum after stumbling across it while looking for a decent online map. I might not be able to contribute much but I will probably need to ask LOTS of questions

A lot of people just ask questions, which is fine. It's always nice being able to help other players out.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Hello!
My name is ThreePounds and I am a mechanical engineering student from Germany! I picked up Skyrim in the steamsale about one year ago but dropped it after playing it for a couple of hours. When I saw morrowind and oblivion on sale a couple of weeks ago, I immediate bought them and played the first of the two and felt enchanted with the game. In order to learn more about Tamriel and it's history and to make it a deeper experience, I decided to play the series in the order they were released.
Today I finally finished TESI:Arena playing with my Dunmer mage and I am looking forward to keep playing him in the later instalments as well.
I have joined this forum to get some more information about Daggerfall as the game seems quite complex and offers a steep learning curve. I am also happy to discuss the lore of the games with you guys as it intrigues me.
Have a nice day!

Between the end of the semester and a pretty nasty sickness, I got out of the habit of checking into the forums, but I'm still here. I can't be gotten rid of that easily.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
I realize I didn't let anyone know here, but my computer has suffered a hardware failure and has been in repair since early January. So, that's the big reason why I haven't been around at all.
I expect to be back sometime this month, but since th repair is taking longer than estimated, who knows.
Just thought I should let you folks know.

I am new here. Hello.
I came for one reason, but figured this might be a nice place to be. In the past I have played Morrowind (mostly of xbox and a bit on pc), Oblivion and Skyrim on PCs.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
My son got me in to playing Morrowind. I needed to practice rotating my thumb (no pun intended), It was jammed into the steering wheel when I was in an auto accident. Then I got into the game and have enjoyed TES ever since; that was back in '08.
Now I am having trouble with 'glitches' (and poss bugs), the worst one is for Wedding Ceremony. So, off to the forums to find something. Anyone I've talked to, in person or online, has never heard of my problem.
Bye from this room, but not from the forums.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Depends on which game you mean. Each game has their own subforums, and if you are experiencing a glitch, the "Help" forum is usually the one you want. For example, if you want to talk about a glitch in Skyrim, go to "Skyrim-Help" forum here: http://forums.uesp.net/viewforum.php?f=40
EDIT: missed your last post. I don't recall Morrowind having any Wedding Ceremonies, but you may check the Morrowind Help forum, or check through the wiki if you haven't already. Also, please try not to double post. You can edit your posts by clicking the edit button in the corner of the post. This just helps keep the forum clean and organized. Welcome.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
Champion, first , happy belated anniversary - on your join date listed under your polar bear.
Using that link, I typed in the 'search' box to help sort the rooms. Unless I did it wrong... nothing for my key words popped up.
Hope you don't mind if I tell my problem here and see where it takes me.
Skyrim:
The Wedding Ceremony, I walk in the chapel and the game 'walks me down the isle" and will not continue. It doesn't freeze, It's just the "this person is busy" pops up when I try to talk.
I have uninstalled (and deleted unused mods) everything Skyrim related. I am using a different mod organizer. I only play offline.
I still have all the same trouble/glitches/bugs. I used to tell my son all of this, but he's moved and I don't want to bother him.

Re: Welcomes and Goodbyes
My name's Rob and after years and years of using UESP Wiki and its resources, I decided it'd be a good time to join the forums. I'm a 23 year old college student in Virginia and I've been playing all five main Elder Scrolls games for about fifteen years now and using the UESP Wiki since Morrowind. My friends call me the loremaster because I know more about the lore and quests than anyone I know. I also play pretty much every other game you can think of on PC and console from Battlefield to Minecraft. My other hobbies include reading, cartography, photography, and watching films. I don't plan on contributing all that much but I enjoy reading informative posts.. I'll also be on chat a lot probably since I work from home most days and play TES on my 360.
If there's anything you want to know or need me to do, don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome. I live in Virginia too. Not many people like it though for some reason. Least it seems that way to me.

Hey Trebor! Your extra strong mints are very popular!
Enjoy the forums! There are always lore related conversations going about, so you sound like you'd be a good source of info for these!
