Undead command creature
Can someone confirm that Command Creature works on Undead in the normal manner. I may have wasted space on a bow by putting both on it as enchantments, and I am starting fights between ghosts and skeletons that I didn't expect.
Re: Undead command creature
Do you believe you are experiencing a bug, or asking to clarify how it should normally work? Ghosts and Skellingtons are both undead, and your command creature turns the one you hit, into an ally, thus an enemy/foe to the others in the area.
Command Creature is supposed to work on Undead: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Command_Creature
Command Creature works for creatures on/in this list: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Creatures
Command Humanoid is supposed to work on NPC's from the NPC list: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:NPCs
Even though Vampires are Undead, they are also NPC, same for Dremora who are NPC's: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Command_Humanoid
Having both enchantments on the bow does not necessarily mean it is wasted, as is saves you from having to carry two bows, or to switch back and forth between both bows. However, having them as separate enchantments on separate bows, may allow you to increase magnitude/strength/duration, and such.
I hope that is what you mean. If you would like for someone to test in game, then a bit more detail on what you are doing, and what is happening would help.

Re: Undead command creature
I did not see the information on the Command Creature page. Thank You.
I was confused when the unexpected happened, and with my enchantment duration being only 1 second I thought maybe there was some minor glitch that might cause Command to mark the turned undead as hostile to others for an instant rather than actually commanding it to be my friend.
The bow is
Command Creature 25-1s
Turn Undead 25-1s
Light 40ft-5s
Weakness to poison 100-6s
Weakness to magick 99-4s
I only need the Command to stop the target from attacking for a few seconds so I can get the second (poisoned) shot off, or to attract other creatures into the fight when that is an option. So for me, the Turn Undead is not doing anything extra. I can use brighter light or an extra second on the Poison weakness.
The other bow I carry when playing at max. difficulty is identical but with Command Humanoid (which is more expensive, so Turn Undead doesn't fit on it.) Together with silence+damage health poison, they take care of everything.

Re: Undead command creature
After a little more game time to study the effect, the Turn Undead on the bow seems to have some advantages, so I boosted it to 3 seconds on another bow and tested them together. The longer time seemed to have a slight advantage.

Re: Undead command creature
If you use the command creature spell or a weapon with the enchantment for it the undead creature will be on your side and fight enemies. I think that's what your asking sorry but try to go in more depth with your question.

Re: Undead command creature
Thanks for taking the time to reply, but the question was answered.
"Can someone confirm that Command Creature works on Undead?"
"Command Creature is supposed to work on Undead"
The practical aspect on my bow is that Turn Undead for a few seconds turns them around and they take a few steps before it wears off instead of having them take a few steps towards me to be my friend. This is beneficial for starting fights (the Command part marks them as hostile to other bad guys) because it often brings two widely spaced undead (far and near) closer together. The durations I have on the bow do not affect my ability to make a second shot with poison.
