Why indeed. I do like that screenshot; it looks like Nazeem is just on the verge of realising something is badly wrong :Twisted Evil:

How is that better? Everyone is so rude in Oblivion, at least at the beginning. Unless you put all your effort into Personality and Speechcraft, and who does that? Maybe I just haven't played Skyrim enough yet to get the full rudeness experience.
I got to thinking... maybe I'm the Prince of Destruction, and I just don't know it yet.

After about the fourth repetition of "Do you get to the Cloud District very often?" I popped into the construction set and made Nazeem quite a bit shorter and uglier and dressed him up in Cicero's court jester outfit. Now he's ridiculous and pathetic instead of just annoying.

It's kind of funny everyone else is complaining about Nazeem. I don't know if I've ever even seen him. The one I get annoyed with is his wife. every time I go to White Run she starts in with "Have you seen my husband Nazeem? He's probably kissing up to the Jarl" or something like that. I hear that line almost as much as the "took an arrow to the knee" line and only one character says it.

How fascinating... I'm also an INTP and I've always been amused by the smart ass comments. Perhaps its because I'm used to a lot of playful teasing among my group of friends. I feel like it's the developers way of teasing us. It's all in good fun! :D That said, I suspect your not the only one bothered considering the sheer amount of people who take pleasure in finding new and unique ways to off Nazeem. Me? I've always though Nazeem was rather pathetic. I mean he's a farmer for talos' sake! I feel sorry for him, to be honest.

Like others have said it's the repetition that annoys me. Especially since they actually do have more dialogue, they just never say any of it. Like a whole two-thirds of their recorded dialogue is never actually heard. And I could have sworn there was a mod that fixed that. Or maybe an unofficial patch? I was playing on an xbox at the time so obviously I couldn't download it. But is there a mod, or was I imagining this? Was it just a dream?

I find Degaine's attitude quite amusing & pathetic. As a beggar, he really shouldn't go around insulting the very people whose compassion he needs. Not least the Dragonborn.
