Following my discussion with ThuumofReason, I wanted to determine whether a certain matter is true for everyone or only for some.
During the Persuasion minigame, if an NPC dislikes Boasts, the only thing they ever say to this is "I doubt it", despite the fact that there are four more lines available in the Construction Set.
Proof: Open the CS and look up the topic BOASTDISLIKE. Aside of "I doubt it", you'll also find the lines "Yeah, right", "That never happened", "That's pretty far-fetched" and "So you say....", and I never heard these lines once in the game. As far as I can tell, the reason for this is that these four lines are missing the "Random" flag, which excludes them from being randomly selected by the game. It's like this in an unmodded 1.2 game, so to my knowledge, the only way someone can hear them is via some mod that alters it.
Now, the question is: is it like this for everyone? This was put into question by ThuumofReason, so I want to dispel any doubts about the matter.
