Losing attributes

Post by caralampio »

I've noticed that characters sometimes lose attribute increases, specifically the +5 you get for a favored attribute during character creation. My character is not under the effect of some disease or anything. All of a sudden, I notice that one of my favored attributes has 5 points less than it should. I can verify it by going back to prior saves until I can find one where, indeed the increase still exists. What could be the cause of this, and is there some way to fix it?

That is odd, did you happen to have an equipment change or blessing expire that could have caused a temporary increase?

Restore potions didn't fix the problem?

I've played a lot of games and levels with my stats recorded for each level and have never seen it where it couldn't be explained by equipment change or creature damage.

What was the attribute and what level did the deletion happen?

This happens if an enemy casts a damage attribute poison on you. The attribute is reduced but it isn't shown in your active effects. Simply drink a restore attribute potion and it should be back to normal.

Have you completed the Molag Bal shrine quest where you get "killed"? Race-based abilities sometimes will be removed upon resurrection.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.
