Is there a way...

Post by Chicken Slayer »

Is there a way to track down an NPC using the console (not respawn them, just get a location)? I was in Cheydinhall for the Mages Guild quest and Falcar wouldn't show up. I waited in segments of a couple of hours each for a full day withno results, then I waited 24 hours. That worked, but if it was not a glitch and he was somewhere doing something it would have been nice to go find him. Some NPCs go to jail or wander the countryside. The Skingrad Archery trainers are often hard to find.

Well, if he's already the quest target, "Movetoqt" should work, ensure that the Cheydinhal quest in active and not the overall quest though. If not, pop onto the wiki and find his RefID, and try "Moveto(His RefID)". Either of these move your character and nothing else.
