Re: Dragon Age
I suspect that the tits line is spoken by Iron Bull as it does seem like something he would say. I also suspect it is something Sera would say but i haven't seen enough of Sera to be able to tell if she would say that or not. It could be an Inquisitor line. If so, then i think this would make him/her the first Bioware protaganist to use vulgar language and will most likely get slapped/punched/Iron Bulled.
I've booted up DA2 and the combat is rather good. I recall hating it but i was wrong. Ok, it's not the best system in the world and some of the animations are a bit silly but it's decent. I still hate the look of the darkspawn as they look like ghouls instead of the spawn we fought in Origins. Oh and i really do wish that we had an origin story to play along with seeing more of Lothering. Also, what the [&@%!] made them think "Players will enjoy not customising their companion's armour?" Just why did they remove that basic function? On the plus side, i will be able to sell all armour i get. But it does feel like a 7/10 game and in my book that counts as a good game.
Oh and less then one month untill Inquisition!
(which i may not be able to afford.)
Also, i'm tempted to boot up Origins and play a male elf mage and try to stick to some consistency as my dwarf save is a bit of a mess due to me changing my mind on some choices. My elf(if i do go through it with), i'll probably go for some other the grey decisions. Such as Isolde's sacrifice, the anvil of the void etc..

Re: Dragon Age
None of the animations in DA2 are as stupid as Dragon Age Origins' "walking with weapons drawn" animation.

It amused me when Wynne would walk around and talk with her hand extended like she's still holding her staff. It's like she's offering to give someone a handjob.

Re: Dragon Age
To be fair, that is a common glitch and can be fairly annoying. Tis amusing when it's a LI and you are about to kiss him/her/ the dog. Sadly, i've discovered that there is a marbari warhound romance mod thanks to the Bioware forums.
Also, i hope that the Qunisitor will have a hard time speaking to humans due to the nature of the Qunari or the chantry tries to blame the entire demon invasion on him/her. Common Sense does not apply when it comes to the Chantry and their bigotry. Oh and i may play my Qunistior as a smart mouthed one that is willing to execute people if she feels that there is no way to resolve it peacefully. But there is probably a massive difference between the Qunari sense of peaceful and the human sense of peaceful. I hope Varric will leave out the bits where she splattered a red templar captain all over the wall at Skyhold

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and guess that you don't have any actual examples of Chantry "bigotry" that has no common sense, or existing, involved with it.

Re: Dragon Age
There is something that bugs me in DA2. It's a Mage Hawke. Kirkwall is Templar central and they don't really bother to hunt him/her. There is no explaination for them not doing their job in the acts. Ok, Act 3 has a valid reason due to Hawke being the Champion and Merideth is forced to give a bit of a leeway but Act 2 and 1? I find it hard to believe that the Templars would not touch a noble as it is their job to find apostates. I suppose Varric could be protecting him/her with his large network of chest hair and spies but it would have been nice to see the Templars trying to arrest Hawke near the begining of the game.

Re: Dragon Age
Mage Hawke and Carver imply multiple times that the Templars were hounding them while they lived in the slums. After Act 2 Hawke is far too important to be hunted.

Re: Dragon Age
I only have the one for now--dwarf commoner (my fave <3), yada yada, all the choices I think to be best. I'll choose a "canon" world state after I've played through DAI at least once.
If Bioware writes into DAI that sparing the Architect is at all a good thing, I will poo my pants in anger and failure to comprehend.

Re: Dragon Age
Would pointing out that there's already been positive things related to sparing the Architect make you soil yourself? If I was wrong about sparing him then I'll just have to live with the consequences. Was a hard choice to make but I felt like it was the right one, maybe it wasn't, time will tell. Or maybe it won't and Bioware will never make anything of it.
I've made one. No options related to The Messenger or The Grand Oak though so probably won't see them again. Anyway seeing as there's no option to have had a romance that ended in the Keep I'll have to decide between my Hawke romancing nobody or romancing Anders despite me choosing to break up with him after the Chantry blew up. Decisions, decisions.

Re: Dragon Age
I have zero! Why? Because i have no way of importing the keep onto my PS3 due to no connection and will be stuck with Bioware's canon. Hopefully, they'll have 5 world states to select for those who can't access the keep.
Apparently, we will play as Hawke during the game as i've been lurking on the bioware forums and someone has spotted the companions and Hawke without the Inquistor. I'm unsure how i feel about this and i [&@%!] wish that Bioware did not spoil hawke's appearance. It would have been nice to discover that he/she is in the game by playing it instead of just via a trailer.

Re: Dragon Age
Having to use the default does suck TLD, sorry to hear it. I wish Bioware had included the Keep as part of the game as well online based. Would have been more work but I think it would be worth it. As is you need a one off internet connection (and connection to EA's servers and the online service on your console if you're using that) to access a pretty important part of the single player game.

Re: Dragon Age
I understand why they have made it an online tool as it's a good concept and should eliminate all future importing problems but it would have been nice if they had an online version that used the hard drive to match choices if you wanted to import it. But alas, i shall have to use the Dalish dead warden and the mage hawk stories as my world state.
But Inquistion should be full of content and they have just confirmed that the game has gone gold. Hopefully, this means there will not be many bugs in it. Oh and i hope Varric's stories will be available to uncover.

Re: Dragon Age
At the cost of THEDAS's ability to have beards. All the dwarves will have their beards disappear and replaced with excessive chest hair! Imagine the chaos that would follow it!
I can see The Architect joining the fight against the Elder one if he was spared and giving the Inquistion a limited amount of Darkspawn help but i suspect 99% of Wardens killed him.
Also, i hope that we can get roaring drunk at Skyhold and take part in drinking contests with our companions. Hopefully, we won't wake up next to the Iron Bull as that would be awkard.
I hope we can customise our Skyhold outfit by dying it different colours.

Re: Dragon Age
I suspect you pulled that statistic out of your ass.
In all seriousness the majority of people who played Dragon Age never even played Awakening. Of those who did, more spared him than you think.

Re: Dragon Age
I actually pulled it out of Andrasta's ass.
I think most people have played Awakening and have killed the Architect. I'll be surprised if Bioware has nothing planned for the Architect if players allowed him to live.
