If you only open the first and last pictures, I would think it was two different people. Crazy what hair does to your appearance. Good job on also not looking 10 years younger without the beard like most people do. You look different, but still the same age. Also, and this is meant as a compliment, you're a hairy [&@%!] aren't ya?

So, I've been growing a beard for like 25 days. This thing is the result. I'm still uncapable of producing a moustache to go with it. (Put the pictures in new tabs and switch between them to make Nanza dance!)

A beard is a beard. And I wouldn't worry about the mustache, you look good without it. Some guys, like myself, need the 'stache to complete the beard, but you can rock it without the lip fuzz.

I'm currently in the process of letting my beard grow out actually to go for the long viking-esque look. My beard tends to curl a little bit, so it's not as long as I'd like it, but all in due time. I'll probably post pics soon of the progress.

Thanks, but I've honestly been considering shaving them since I'm only 18 and people 95% of the time think I'm 22-25-ish. A wee bit strange, though I don't see that myself.

I don't think you look that much older, but I can see where you're coming from. But at least you got to look older, and not just the like a child with facial hair.

I have (somewhat) of a babyface and I hated it when I was in high school. Now I could care less but it can be fun switching between 'bearded Nord James' or 'clean shaven James.' Girls almost unanimously agree clean shaven James (/anybody) is better which is a shame because I like looking in the mirror and thinking, "That dude knows his way around smithy work." I just need to find a nerdy gal but that's like impossible. I know 2 girls that play video games but not on the nerd level of Elder Scrolls.

Thanks for the compliment, AKB. That coat has plenty of pockets and i believe it makes me look like a professional instead of just wearing my workclothes and my crap green jacket. (It's crap because of the zip being broken)
