Mouse outside

Post by leonissenbaum »

Hello.
I want to play skyrim on my MAC, and that works, but i cant find a way to have my mouse outside the screen. So like I am playing skyrim, then i choose to browse the internet WITHOUT leaving skyrim. Any help? Please? Thanks.

I'm assuming by "without leaving Skyrim", you mean not exiting the game?

I don't know what it is for Macs, but just minimise the game, and everything should be fine.

For example on PC, you press Alt+Tab.. Wouldn't have a clue about Mac. I'd assume it's probably the same?

Also when you start up the game the initial menu (the one with the Dragonborn and the mountain scape) you can go into the visual options and select to play the game in a window as opposed to full screen.

Fair warning, this may cause issues with the cursor, so I advise you do it as infrequently as possible. Sometimes the normal cursor and the ingame cursor will BOTH show up, which is annoying, so if that happens, just restart the game :)

Actually there is a way to avoid the double cursor glitch. Just hit tab to bring up the four way menu, the one with level up, magic, etc on it. Then alt tab out. When your ready to go back to the game click it in your tool bar then alt tab quickly back through what ever your running until you get back to the game and settle on that. On my system if I just click on the game and don't do the second alt tab I get nothing but a black screen. Nice glitch there Bethesda.

I do this all the time and have never had the double cursor glitch happen after doing so.
