Multiple Followers?
I have a Dark Brotherhood male follower, after completing that whole quest line. I just completed the Unearthed quest and wanted to get Hoarfrost, so I spared Relis and decided that if I was quick enough I could make him my Follower, take Hoarfrost then make the Dark Brotherhood male my follower again before Relis ran back to the Retching Netch and my DB follower back to Skyrim. But when I made Relis my Follower, my DB one didn't leave. I've gone back to Skyrim and have been playing with 2 permanent Followers since then. Is this normal? I'm on the PS3 Legendary edition.
Playing on PS3:
Oblivion Game of the Year edition (Knights of the Nine + Shivering Isles)
Skyrim Legendary (Hearthfire, Dragonborn & Dawnguard)

Re: Multiple Followers?
Thats a Glitch or something you can read about it all over the net. its the only way to have a second follower without doing the Serana thing from DG. At least in vanilla.

Re: Multiple Followers?
Yeah, if you search the forums for the topic 'Multiple Companions', you should run across an earlier time when I answered this question. You can essentially 'outrun' the dialogue that an NPC says when being asked to accompany you, meaning you invite a second person to follow you before the first has finished speaking. You can actually have BOTH DB initiates this way. So in addition to your actual follower you can have the two assassins and also Serana if you have Dawnguard. You can add an animal follower (or Dwarven automaton if you have Dragonborn), and then two conjured allies if you have the Twin Souls perk. Of course there's also the 'Summon Spectral Assassin' spell that calls good ole Lucien Lachance from the void (I don't believe this will interfere with your other conjures). Where things really get crazy is if you pass out conjuring staves to everyone. You're now at the head of a substantial posse. The Ritual Stone power can also create a nice little posse by pretty much raising anyone around you, including beings like giants and mammoths which you normally can't raise. The problem it has is that it doesn't last very long, so putting it into the Aetherial Crown (Dawnguard) is advisable. Experiment with this. Even if you don't need the extra man power, it's pretty cool to stand back and watch your troops destroy everything.
