Well, IIRC there was a big ass update that changed the format of everything, so it's hard for modders to adapt. Jeb isn't exactly being friendly when it comes to the modding community.

I don't know if other people will agree with me, but I really think that Mojang should add Redstone Automobiles.

There would be two types of cars. One would be able to fit two players, and they would be three blocks long, and two blocks wide. The other would be able to fit four people, and it would be five blocks long, and two blocks wide.

They would be faster than horses, but they would be a lot more dangerous. Crashing into a building/cliff/object at high speed will destroy the car, much like boats. It would also damage the player, and the faster they were going when they crashed, the more damage they would get. Hitting mobs with cars will severely damage them, even killing them, depending on speed.

Cars would look like early cars from the 1910's/1920's, with actual literal trunks on the back. The trunk would appear to be a chest. It would be usable, just like a normal chest. The smaller car would have a small chest size storage, while the larger car would have a large chest size storage.

To make a car, one must get three iron blocks, a redstone block, a glass block, and either one or two chests, depending on which model of car you want.

Minecraft would have to hit the industrial revolution first.

They have plenty of mods or industrial bits. Honestly, I'm fine with my minecarts, I only wished that they could be made out of gold for once.. gotta have that class when I'm cruising down the rails

No joke, I actually wouldn't mind some metal boats or something that could get me through lava in the nether

Would sure make gold more useful. All I use it on is clocks and then I suppose golden apples seeing as there is nothing else to do with them that is practical. Actually I've never made a minecart.

Having a sturdier metal boat that doesn't break out of nowhere when I'm just going along or hit a wall would be nice. Boats are much faster (assuming you have a good river channel or sea) and safer than walking but boats are so fragile.

Gold blocks. Try building anything with them and you'll soon find a purpose to go gold mining.

That or make the ever so powerful Enchanted Gold Apples.. or Notch Apples as they are known>_> near invincibility.. but at the cost of so much gold.. worth it

Just a heads up: We're trying to sell our house, and we might in the next month or so. I'll announce it here when we move so you'll know when the server is down.

I found the old world file. It's rather nostalgic to walk around in. If anyone wants it, it's here.

[&@%!]

But yeah, I remember. Of course, I was more absorbed in my own less-interesting town to the north, as well as desperately searching for a stronghold and trying to build a giant railroad/trade center.
Also, we never did discover who made those signs Image

And I found the old, old world file the other day too. You know, the one where I built a pagoda and you made a floating island?
Plus that seed was just gorgeous, it's a shame it doesn't convert to modern Minecraft versions anymore. Gotta downgrade to beta to even attempt to play it.

Well AKB was Reme's main builder, and that town was also centered around an NPC village, so, that's why.

Sorry for the lack of maintenance. I've updated WorldEdit, Essentials, and WorldGuard, so things should run a little smoother...I hope.

Also won't be moving, so I should be able to host for at least the next year or so.

Will updates come out the same time they do on the PC?

Honestly, it doesn't take much of a PC to run Minecraft.

I don't think so. On PC, you're at like...1.8? Minecraft on 360, when I last played, I was being surprised by stuff like how more frequently I was finding clay. XD yeah. 360 version didn't have a bunch of biomes like savannah n whatnot. Lacking mobs like horses, mules. The console versions are awhile behind PC updates. :(

Server is on 1.7.10 right now. Official update is 1.8

Speaking of, guys, we have a problem. Bukkit got a cease and desist letter from Mojang. It looks like there won't be any more updates past 1.7.10. Don't upgrade your client if possible. Also, I guess we need to decide if we want to just go vanilla from now on?

Yeah, you really just need a decent amount of RAM, and that's it. I'm sure you can run it.

Ok, so when you're launching Minecraft, you can go to profile and double-click on the version and change it to 1.7.10 manually.

Some of you may have already heard that the Minecraft PS4 launch has been a disaster. Getting billed for the purchase but being unable to download it. Yep. Ffffffffffffffffffffbugger.

Edit: I seem to be in the process of downloading it atm. We'll see how this goes.
