I like Solstheim but cant stand how characters like Mirak get powers we cant have. Or make scrolls like Jazargo.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
What makes me mad right now is how bugs ruined my favourite character. She can't proceed with the Companions questline because she was sent to a cave added by Dawnguard and can't go in without starting that, and now she's stuck with the Civil War, because the Battle for Whiterun will not start. I'm roleplaying her, so it makes no sense at all that she would abandon those two quests and go explore or something, so I will have to restart her. Again. :/

My biggest pet peeve is how they shove quest on you that I have no interest in. Such as the Deadric quest or how you can't buy anything dwarven without the ability to clear the quest from the mage in Markoth if you don't sell it to him.

Vampire attacks.
I mean, damn, my game went crazy with them. Cyril had four attacks in a row. First just outside Fort Dawnguard, second when exiting the cell to Rift, third on his way to this one cave and fourth when exiting the cave.
Not too long after he also had vampires attacking Whiterun and killing Adrianne Avenicci.
I was so [&@%!] that I used resurrect console command on her.

Yeah, I too usually refuse to load previous saves or using console commands since I like to immerse myself in the game world in a way that what happens, happens (unless it's a glitch or something).
However, this time I was so immensely annoyed that I choose to undo the evil doings of those irritating vampires. No regrets

To be honest, she really irritates me with her constant bragging about her father. I would probably have left her dead. I lost Belethor that way though, and didn't realize it until it was too late to resurrect his corpse.

When shouts don't initiate themselves properly but still use shout time, similarly when I select a shield during a fight and then my hand is empty when I go back to the scene.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
When i take control of an object (ie Dibella Statue, bowl, ingredient or a weapon etc) and try to simply place it on a table or other location . . . it has a mind of it's own with virtually no sane control . . . after much time spent, if i manage to place it somewhere, leave and return it is on the floor or elsewhere from where i put it. When moving the object it becomes inverted, is jerky & unpredicable, slides around if placed in a display case, books in bookcases become jumbled . . . a total frustration. Solution, go on a quest and take it out on the enemy!:)
Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
Dragons, at a certain point they seem like cliff racers only with better loot.
Mountain top locations. Wouldn't be so bad if the maps in Skyrim were a little more informative and sometimes you can spot a clear path to the top on the map but I hate having to circle around the base of a mountain to find a way up when I thought I knew the right path.
The number of children that say they help parents at work yet I have never once seen a child do anything close to help.

Try Deadly Dragons (or some other mod boosting dragon stats and giving them new abilities, there's a few) + Dragon Combat Overhaul.p-sto wrote:Dragons, at a certain point they seem like cliff racers only with better loot.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
If I were going to go that route I'd have to bring in a mod that makes dragon spawns less frequent. Sometimes it's nice to be surprised by a dragon but I don't like the idea of repeatedly having to put off questing so I can spend ten minutes sparring with a powered up dragon. Might be worth doing though. My opinion since playing Skyrim has been that dragon should be rare and they should be brutal. The current state of affairs just cheapens them in my eyes.

That the military advisors remain essential after the Civil War questline when they retreat to their camps.
Oh, also that Rolff Stone-Fist is essential, he reminds me of someone IRL who I can't stand. >.> ...Well, that sounds kinda bad. Lol

The thing that vexes me about Rolff is that you beat him up and he doesn't become less of a jerk but he just treats you like you're his new best friend. Just seems plain wrong.

Oh I nearly forgot, beggars that start jeering you literally a minute after you give them coin. I'm ashamed to admit this but there have been more than a few times I've contemplated killing them all just so I can walk the streets in peace.

Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
I've seen a real life bar fight end with the two drunk combatants bro-hugging and saying "love you man"... and it was a pretty violent fight, with pool cues and one of the guys bleeding all over a pool table (they never did get that stain out). It happens. I thought the game got that right - that a bar fight often improves the disposition of the combatants toward each other.p-sto wrote:The thing that vexes me about Rolff is that you beat him up and he doesn't become less of a jerk but he just treats you like you're his new best friend. Re: What makes you mad in Skyrim?
Thing is I still hate him after the fight and he still continues to act like a piece of [&@%!]. I'd be fine with his affection if he had learned his lesson but he hasn't and hating someone and not even having them notice really is one of the more vexing things in life.

Yeah, I beat Rolff black and blue and now he considers me a friend despite me stabbing, shooting, or poisoning him for fun.
I don't know how to quote on mobile, but beggars were mentioned earlier, I started to encounter an issue where I'd hear Silda begging through 2-3 walls from distances I shouldn't have heard her from. It got on my nerves so I poisoned her. If I remember right, she had jewels, a gold necklace, and a bit of gold on her. >.>

At least you haven't walked into your house to see a thalmor patrol attacking your kids and trying to kill your dog, that one had me hunting down every Justiciar in Falkreath for more than I usually do.Spark wrote:lack of choices. destroying the thieves guild? nope. killing maven black briar? nope. marrying a khajiit? nope. and so on.

Dragons dont get duel attack I guess or they would be more deadly, imagine a bite and a wing buffet at the same time.Spark wrote: ALSO, forsworn briarhearts. i have about 20 times more trouble with a single briarheart than i do a dragon and a dragon priest at the same time
I find many Dragon Priest glitched which weakens them since they dont use there spells like they should. Also they have no HTH attacks so if you have good magic resistance they are much weaker. I find most high level druager to be worse than Dragon Preist be glad they dont have duel attack.
