Valus

Melaris pointed at Paras, Naragei and Two-Shadows. "There," she said. She strode up to the group and whispered, "You three just now opening the door?"

Paras, Valus & Naragei

Two-Shadows shrugged at Melaris' question and whispered in response, "Newbies."

"Is it open?" Valus whispered. He was eager to see what treasures were inside, but at the same time he was afraid there would be a guard on duty to watch the inventory.

Paras got a smile on his face but kept his voice low, "yep, opened easier than a rabbits ribcage. I've also used a detect life spell, and the owner seems to be sleeping."

A sigh of relief came from Valus. "Alright, then what're we waiting for? Lets get to work," he said, slowly opening the door to see what was inside.

Paras, Naragei & Valus

The shop was quite typical for Cyrodiil. The ceiling was nice and tall, over three meters at least. The floor was a light wood, the long counters forming almost a waist-high hallway starting at the door were made of a darker wood. Staves, shields, shirts, pants, shoes, weapons, and jewelry of almost every size, shape and color sat out on the counters, were draped along the walls, or sat in shelves behind the counters.

Valus slowly started to sneak down the hallway of counters, peering left and right to look for any traps or particularly valuable items in the counters.

Paras, Naragei & Valus

Two-Shadows followed behind Valus and immediately started to take things from the counter and put them into a small satchel which he had also just stolen.

Melaris entered behind the Argonian. She drank from a vial before moving toward the section of counters with clothing. She started handling a nice looking red dress.

Out in the open for the most part. If you keep searching you might find a safe behind a counter or something. Going to try and wait on the others before any action goes down.

Raven
Raven kept to herself when her 'companion' spoke, enjoying her ale and awaiting for the curious orc to draw near. As he sat and tried to give a good impression, she could only lean her chin upon her hand and give a slight smile "My my.." her eyes were narrowed n a seducing manner with intents unclear. She broke her sentence with a small chuckle, all within a feminine manner "Never have I seen a Pariah act so tough yet be so shy." She admittedly found it adorable the way he made a first impression "Well handsome, could it be your here by chance or by intent?"

Naragei, Paras & Valus

The door to the shop suddenly slammed shut with a loud bang! An Altmer could be seen standing halfway down the stairs leading to the second floor. He was dressed in a long nightgown and holding a staff in each hand, one tip glowing gold, the other a light blue.

"Thieves!" he shouted.

Paras, who was still just grabbing things from the first counter and very near the door, dropped to all fours.
One's the staff of paralysis, not sure what the other is. Me kneeling here isn't going to do me any good though. He can probably detect me anyway.
Paras slowly went back to the door, and tried to open it.
Please just be telekinesis, and not a lock spell...

"By both, actually," Maugrim replied, locking eyes with Raven for a moment before shifting his eyes hurriedly, hoping not to offend her, "It was my intent to seek you out, but it was by chance that I ended up here."

Naragei, Paras & Valus

"You can't hide from me!" the Altmer shouted. "I can see each and every one of you!"

Two-Shadows and Melaris were nowhere to be seen. They were either very good hiders, or had become invisible.

The door handle turned in Paras' hand and it opened a crack. The Breton could see a Nord man walking down the street in front of the shop. He was a burly sort, six feet tall with shaggy blonde hair. He seemed to have a bit of facial hair, and either a recently broken nose, or one of the most bulbous noses Paras had ever seen. He was wearing brown pants and a white shirt, both with several stains on them; farmers clothes.

Only a moment passed before another telekinesis blast slammed the door shut.

Bromnar

Bromnar had been walking down a street in the Elvish Gardens District, minding his own business, when a door to his left opened. He could briefly see a frightened Breton on all fours before the door slammed shut. He thought he heard someone say, "Help!"

Character Name: Bromnar
Race: Nord
Age: 43

Background (Why are you like that?):
Bromnar ('Brom') grew up in Solitude in the North-West of Skyrim. His step-father was a carriage driver and he would often accompany him on his journeys conveying people to various towns and settlements. He was taught blade and bow skills, as travelling on the roads could be a dangerous affair.
In his early twenties, Brom went off on his own and, keen to follow it his step-father's footsteps, managed to obtain himself a job as a personal carriage driver for a wealthy landowner. She was an old mage, who paid him well and became a good friend, often telling him stories of her days of youth at the magnificent College of Winterhold, as Brom had always been fascinated by magic.
Bromnar kept this same job for 15 years, until his employer was savagely killed by a giant who had taken a liking to her settlement. Deeply saddened by this event, Brom decided he had had enough of the chauffeur trade and, after taking the mages spell tomes and books on magic (as he was sure she would have been happy for him to have them), he made off for parts unknown, travelling, for once, on his own.
Though adventuring was enjoyable, the Nord soon found times to be hard going, mainly after he was robbed of most of his money by a thief that acted while he slept one night.
Forced to begin minor thievery to get by, Brom slowly made his way to the centre of Cyrodiil, passing through the towns and villages, to see if he could find any luck in his life there.

Physical description (what do you look like):
6ft tall, with shaggy blonde hair. Average build, grey eyes, a short beard and moustache and a bulbous nose. His teeth are straight but have a gap in between the two front ones.
Equipment: Elven dagger, Ancient Nord bow and arrows, lockpicks, Amulet of Dibella
Major Skills: Speech, One handed, Archery
Minor Skills: Acrobatics, Destruction (Fire Rune, Lightning Bolt, Flames), Sneak

Thanks for the intro!
Bromnar had only just arrived in the Imperial City that day. He had gotten himself a room at one of the inns, with what little money he had, and had already taken a quick tour of the city by day. But thieving was best done in the cover of darkness and he wanted to know what the place was like after hours.

He was in the Elven Gardens District, talking a reconnaissance walk, the path dimly lit by torches dotted here and there. So far he had not spotted anyone out this late, good news.

He had just passed the gate leading from the Talos Plaza district, when a noise caught his ears. He stopped in his tracks. A door on his left opened a crack and he was startled to see a Breton man crouching on all fours, fear on his face. He thought he heard a cry for help from the man.
The odd sight ended when the door slammed shut very suddenly. It seemed as though someone else had close it.

"Something fishy seems to be going on in there." he thought suspiciously.

Bromnar noticed a sign above the door, Enticing Enchantments. This was a shop and someone was trying to escape.
Doubting that it would be the owner crouching in his own store, there was only one other explanation he could think of. Thieves!

Never one to leave a person in trouble, thief or not, he slowly crept over to the door, glancing quickly around the vicinity first. He unsheathed his dagger for protection and slowly tried the handle to see if it was unlocked.

Valus panicked. He fumbled for the door, but was startled by the telekinesis. Freaking out, he grabbed te potion he got from Melaris, and took a few large gulps from it.

Maugrim grinned, showing off the long and crooked fangs befitting one of pure-blooded Orcish descent.

"Have you been in the City for some time?" the Orc queried, attempting to spark conversation. He tore off a piece of bread and ate it with enthusiasm.

Naragei, Paras & Valus

No sooner had Valus taken a drink than he was hit by a paralysis spell that came streaming from the Altmer's staff. Instead of feeling his muscles tense and lock, though, Valus felt the spell hit and then bounce off of him!

"No, no, no, NO!" Shouted the Altmer as he saw his own spell coming back at him. It was no use, of course. The spell hit the Altmer, and he fell down the stairs frozen like a statue.

"Ha!" Melaris said, suddenly appearing from the shadows next to Valus. "I'm glad you're one to follow directions!" She put a hand on Valus' shoulder in appreciation. "Spell reflection potion. Hard to make, but potent."

Bromnar

The door opened easily, and as it did it revealed Valus and Melaris, her hand on his shoulder, both of them looking at the downed Altmer.

Valus was speechless. There were three things rushing through his mind. First was the obvious shockof seeing this man fall back stiff as a board. The second was that they needed to get out of there before the effect wore off. The third was that the man saw their faces, which was bad news. Regardless, he grabbed some of the closest goods around him and stuffed them in his pocket. He thought about going and stealing the staff, but idea of getting that close to his attacker sent a chill down his spine. Rather, he started shuffling toward the door.
