Minor ENDING SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another thing i don't like in the game is this:
When you kill off Adoring Fan, he seems to respawn randomly. Usually, he respawns by your character's side, but sometimes, he doesn't show up even after weeks and months after his last death. I just wish they had it like if you killed Adoring Fan, he respawns at the Arena or by the character's side.
When i was finishing off the main Oblivion quest, i had Adoring Fan with me and i thought: "Wow, some random guy from the Arena is now in the middle of a battle to decide the fate the Tamerial....He's lucky if he'll even survive.
As i left the Imperial Palace, the last time i saw Adoring Fan was when he was standing by the door on the other side of the palace. After i beat the game, he never showed up. I had assumed he was killed by a wayward baddie, so i allow a month to pass and he still isn't around. I assume that he had respawned, but he's in a completly diffrent place. This happened before when he died in Fort Doubecross and the next time i saw him, he was in my basement in Anvil. So i search the likely places he'd be (Like in the basement, the palace, and the Arena) and he isn't there. So now once again, i'm on a quest to find him and it's beginning to annoy. Did the game somehow erase him after i beat it?

Hmmm.... well, id have to say its tendency to frighten the heck out of me when i turned around to see a ogre mauling my petrified horse.
that, and is it just me, or despite the promises of "waves of daedra" there seems to be a greater amount of mudcrabs around Cyrodiil, Perhaps someday, even the mudcrabs will plan to take over Cyrodiil with their slightly Sharp claws... wow i can see them mauling the guards now "Help Me Hero Of Kvatch" -Mudcrabs Swarm past his face-
No but honestly... the most annoying thing in all of it... would have to be How unrealistic ranging is,
your character can after a while take, what? 100 Steel arrows into him?
Something seems unrealistic about this...
Wait yep... hangon
Ahah here we go
100 Iron Arrows

Vampire? What vampire..
That leads me to a question: I recently got 9 mudcrabs following me around just for the sake of seeing how big an army of mudcrabs I could get trying to kill me....and after 9 no more followed me, even if I attacked them they'd just stay there eating.
Is there a max amount of creatures that can be mad at you at one time?

One thing i hate about Oblivion, is how easy it is to assasinate with DB... in the Scheduled for Execution quest, i hoped to give the [&@%!] a decent whooping with me mitts, but one, count 'em ONE, right handed hook, he fell dead as a seagul hit byt a falling ogre. Damn! Happens pretty much every time.
It would also be cool with a massive war, as said above.. or if one of the citites (prefferably IC) went into civil war, where you could run amok and kill, and possibly get killed... Ofcause it would then suck when all the NPC's dead bodies litterd the street, but possibly an neutral order could magically haul them out on death, and revive them?
Sorry if nothin' i said makes any sence, i get that alot.

The adoring fan is kinda funny. Annoying, but funny. I had him follow me around during my first game. He died soon after I went into an oblivion gate. Several days later, I was in a cave, fighting goblins, had all of them killed in that particular area when I heard someone running up to me. I turned around, swung my blade... my fan was dead again! It went all so fast, I didn't even recognize him until he was dead.
Some days later I had him following me again and made that one mages guild quest where you have to go into a cave to kill the vampires and the vampire hunters. I waited with him at the entrance while the hunters and vampires were fighting against each other. After the hunters were victorious they came walking to the entrance were I shot them with arrows one by one. My fan saw this and said: "I can't believe you did this." I was worried that he might tell the guards, so I turned to him and shot him too. I've never seen him again after that...
But anyway... The thing I disliked about Oblivion the most is that you can't be pure evil. There are so many quests that raise your fame, every quest makes you the glorious knight. I would like it if you were able to join the Mythic Dawn, try to kill Martin and his companions, lead the attacks on the cities, have your own daedric plane with merchants. Daedra won't attack you, but the guards in the "normal" world. That would have been cool.
Why does one have to be the hero? I wanted to play an evil character, joined the DB, the thieves guild. After beating the main quest I had about 36 infamy points, but 78 fame points. So many times, there is just one way to finish a quest. And that's usually the "good" way.

Totally agree with you here. Sure, you're free to play the game however you want, but they only give you one way to beat the main quest, and there are far more miscellaneous good quests than evil ones. And on a side note about the daedric plane thing, I always thought it would be cool if you could play as a Dremora.Belthazor wrote:But anyway...
