"That Dominic fellow said it was the only stuff to eat around here," Naragei answered, his eyes moving back and forth between his meager sandwich and Melaris' scrumptious meal.

Melaris' eyes widened in understanding as the Argonian spoke. She nodded slowly. "Then he is correct," she said, taking a fork-full of mash to her mouth. After swallowing and washing it down with some more wine she continued with a smirk, "No other food in the entire Guild Hall."

Re: Shadow Hide You
Valus smiled at Two-Shadows. "Well I sorta want to go out and hit a store or house or something. I mean, from what I've seen, it is a pretty dark night. We should take advantage of it," he explained. "But I'm also a bit tired," he quickly added, with a yawn. He wouldn't want to go out thieving if nobody else was, but he did want to get on a headstart in getting a good appearance with the guild. "What do you think?" he asked the Argonian, hoping he would pitch a useful opinion.

Paras was skeptical about her response. "Well,I am fine with this, after all, it's better than prison food."

Tsiani
Dar'Virr nodded approvingly. "This one was hoping you would say that," he said. He looked back at the ship carrying the jewels. It was a small merchant vessel, only a single mast, anchored and tied off with a single thick rope at the front. There was a single guard at the gangplank, looking bored. A winch crane was nearby, used for the unloading of large crates. The top bar was over the jewel ship, and could be used to jump onto the main sail. The rope or anchor chain used to moor the ship could be used to reach the ship as well. All in all there were several ways they could enter, some requiring a distraction of the guard, some not.
"Dar'Virr will follow your lead," the male Khajiit said with a sly grin.
Valus
"The night is definitely a good one for thievery," Two-Shadows replied. "I know that a local shop just got a fresh shipment of enchanted items if you're interested..."
Paras
"Hmmm," Melaris said. "Maybe it's because you're a man, but I've never had bad food in a prison."

"Hmmm..." Tsiani murmured, considering the possibilities her spellbook and skillset presented.
"Well... A distraction would probably be the safest. Engaging watchmen on your own terms, rather than get caught red-handed. But that seems so... Artless, no?"

Paras gave a chuckle, "yeah, I guess that would get you some bonus points. There weren't any girls in Cidhna Mine that I saw get special treatment though."

Raven, deciding nothing else was better to do, chose to follow. She dashed a look back at those who still stood in the hall before trying to find the exit.

Lalussa looked back and saw her companion following her. "fancy a brew?" She asked Raven with a smile as she walked towards the nearest inn. "It's on me but only because you're fun!" She told the breton as she felt her coinpurse. She had a mere 234 coins on her. All of it was either stolen, made by stolen goods that were sold to merchants or just coins she had found on the ground.

Maugrim began to start after the pair, but stopped, his courage failing him. With a sigh, he trudged up the stairs and into the common room, where he proceeded to collapse onto a bed.

Tsiani
"Depends on the distraction," Dar'Virr said with a grin. "What did you have in mind?"
Valus
"Then we should get Melaris," Two-Shadows said with a sly smile. "She knows enchantments pretty well. ...is that ok with you?"
Lalussa and Raven
The nearest Inn happened to be right on the waterfront, only a few doors down from the Thieves Guild. It was called The Floating Sload. There was a beggar outside the door, hand outstretched from his brown sackcloth, his dirty face - barely visible under his hood - gaunt with hunger. "Please, kind ma'am, a coin?" he asked in a hoarse voice.

"A coin won't buy you a meal however, 30 will do the trick." Lalussa told the beggar as she gave him 30 septims. She knew she would have some coin coming in soon and knew from experience what it was like to go hungry.

Re: Shadow Hide You
Raven looked upon the beggar, her face showed no remorse for his ill fortune. She crossed her arms before rushing off past the the scene, snatching the elf by the sleeve "And what? Watch him drown his troubles in skooma? Come on, this let's not waste our night in this pitiful scene." Her voice was smug and rude indeed, but she dared not look upon the man as she bit her lip in restraint. She beckoned for the elf to follow her indoors, where comfort awaited

"Wha..hey!" Lalussa said as she was dragged off by Raven before she could give the beggar the coins. "Even if he is a skooma addict, who are we to say that what he can and can't do with his coin?" She asked Raven as she walked towards the tavern with her. "But let's not talk about the boring daily moral, holier then thou [&@%!] that some people love to ram down our throats. Let's drink to our health and to being two fun loving women!" She told Raven with a smile and would follow her indoors.

Re: Shadow Hide You
Paras the not forgotten
Melaris, who had also been waiting to see if the Argonian was going to say anything, looked at Paras with disbelieving eyes. "Cidhna Mine?" she asked. "How long were you there, and why?"
Valus
"Good!" Two-Shadows exclaimed, patting Valus on the back. "Follow me. She's in the dining room." The Argonian began walking toward the door leading to the armory.
Lalussa and Raven
The beggars eyes were wide and filled with tears as he saw the kindness that Raven meant to bestow upon him. His face changed to one of shock and loss as Lalussa snatched the elf away before the coins were given.
The Floating Sload was a decent looking tavern, with tables scattered around the floor and booths along the walls. The bar was centered along the back wall, staircases on either side of it that led to the private rooms. A fireplace was built into the left wall. Two armored men were sitting on chairs in front of the fire with their drinks, telling tales of adventures to each other. Their stories could not be heard by Raven or Lalussa from the front door. The bartender, a portly, gray-haired and bearded Imperial greeted the women.
"Welcome to the Floating Sload!" the man said in a load, jovial voice as he dried a flagon and set it down behind the bar. He wore a faded orange tunic that bore several dark stains along the shoulders and belly.
