Paras walked down the hall, checking each until he came to the last one.

Paras
Each room seemed to have been spoken for starting with Two-Shadows, then Dar'Virr, then Melaris. Finally he came to the door at the end of the hallway. Behind it was a great room with ten beds, each head up against the wall. At the foot of each bed was a trunk, and at the side was a small table. In the middle of the room was a large round table with ten chairs. Lanterns sat on every small table, and a large chandelier hung above the round table, ten of its twenty candles lit.

Re: Shadow Hide You
Paras took the bed furthest from the door, lied down and thought about the day's events.
I shouldn't have fought the guard, that was foolish and definitely not something I would want to do if the situation happens with an actual guard. But after seeing the Orc fight and possibly get killed I panicked and had to save my comrade. Hmph, foolish, foolish, foolish. I was so close to the exit, and if I hadn't used my magicka trying to unlock that second door, I could have been able to see that Argonian and avoided that meaningless confrontation and possibly ended up in this room without the headache. The only thing I did right was unlocking that door, and running from the guard. I'll be amazed if my stay in the guild is anything but brief at this rate.

"Mmm, this one is intrigued," Tsiani said, as she mentally marked the ships as possible heist targets. "It sounds nice."

"How rude." Lalussa said in the best false offended tone she could muster. "Let's find ourselves two beds." She told Raven with a smile.

Valus was relieved he was so far welcomed by the guild. But he was a bittoo restless from the previous events to sleep now. "Nice to meet you Two-Shadows. What kind of service do you offer to the guild?" He queried.

Tsiani
"It is even nicer than it sounds," Dar'Virr said, leading Tsiani toward the city. Along the way he gave a gold piece to each beggar that asked one of him.
Maugrim
"I'll take that as a compliment," Dominic replied, sheathing the sword with a grin. "So, Maugrim, what reason does an orc have for joining a guild based on stealth?"
Valus
"My services are many," Two-Shadows responded. "I'm a Shadowfoot; second highest rank in the Guild. Something needs stealing, I can do it. You need training with daggers or bows? That's me, too. Dominic handles the big flashy weapons."

"Oh no no no..." Valus chuckled. "I don't think there'll ever be a day I carry a bow or dagger; let alone use it against someone...". He shifted his expression to a more serious look. "So what're the other guild members like? Like, is the potion master always so straightforward? Or does she have a lighter side?" He asked, hoping to learn more about those he will work with in the future.

Valus
"Having some kind of weapon might save your life one day," Two-Shadows intoned, "wouldn't be a bad idea to learn to handle one." He let go of Valus' hand and looked toward that led to the mystical crafting room. "Melaris is...Melaris," the Argonian said. "She can be nice, but it takes a while to earn her trust." He turned to look at Valus again. "It's that way with all of us, though," he continued. "We may act nice, but it's just acting. I don't trust you any more than I would trust a stranger right now, which is why I've still got this out." He glanced down to his left hand, which still had his dagger in it.

"Understandable" Valus nervously choked. He didn't like the idea of fighting anyone, especially with the intention of killing - or being killed. "We should do some burglary or heists together sometime. That's one of the better ways of earning one another's trust, I think" he added, trying to steer the conversation from weapons and killing.

"Tsiani tried begging once," The light brown-furred Khajiit said, glancing back at the latest one. "In Bravil. People are generous enough to survive, but the waiting, lounging about... So boring! Who can live like that?"

Re: Shadow Hide You
Ra'Krinrij followed Paras into the commonroom, kicked off his boots, and lay down on the closest bed. He pulled up his hood over his eyes to shut out the room, in a foul mood. His side still stung where he had been kicked by the metal boot, but the pain was not what was bothering him. He was not used to being berated like some kitten, the shame and fury surged through him. He cursed the setup with the fake guard as pointless, and especially the fact that he probably had left a horrible first impression with the higher-ranking members. He hadn't even been useful in the fight.
Despite not sleeping, he lay still. At least he had completed their "mission", and he would not stir from this bed unless the Master Thief himself ordered him out or the introductory task was over.

Raven curled her lips in a smile as she watched one by one, her 'peers' walk upstairs with a aura of defeat. As she thought to herself, words escaped her lips "Speaking of money.." She slowly walked midway, with her hands behind her waist and a shy in expression "Pariah? Would you mind coming over her, please?" She was confident yet charming in her voice, trying to persuade Maugrim to approach

Raven shuffled a bit closer upon his reply. She tried to extend her height with but the tip of her toes, only to quickly give the orc a peck on his cheek.

Raven returned to her feet, with an almost innocent posture
"You made a certain lil lady a few septims richer back in that room.. thought that maybe you would of liked a reward too" she commented, referencing both the earlier bet and the 'kiss' she just gave

Maugrim raised a hand to his cheek in surprise. "Urmmm... T-thanks, Miss....?" the Orc stuttered.

Tsiani
"The beggars here do more than sit around," Dar'Virr said, a wily grin spreading across his mouth. "They are our secret network. They are spies."
The water was lightly rippling in the harbor, the night's breeze the culprit responsible. Dar'Virr looked up at the evening sky, dark except for the stars in the heavens; holes punched through the mortal plane itself. No sound came from either Khajiit's footfalls, making the sound of voices even more vibrant. The men working on the ship to the couple's right were talking about what they would do with the money they got from selling the jewelry they had on board. Those on the left were arguing over who would drink first from one of the bottles of brandy in the cargo hold. The third ship, even further to the left was silent, most likely a pirate or prisoner ship.
"So which would you like to provide for this evening?" Dar'Virr asked. "The drink or the entertainment?"
Valus
"Of course we will," Two-Shadows replied. "The list of jobs will be posted in the morning, and if you see something you like just tell Maro. He'll assign higher-ranked guild members as he sees fit, but I'll ask that Melaris be assigned to you." The Argonian gave a mischievous smile.
Maugrim & Raven
"And me?" Dominic asked Raven. "Can I call on you any time? My room gets lonely at night." He winked at her in an exaggeratedly sly way.
Entryway
Dack was suddenly at the top of the stairs with Emma. He led her down to the group that remained. Emma was obviously still under the Charm spell. "Thank you for the evening, Emma," Dack said with an air of sarcasm. He kissed her cheek.
"It was my pleasure, Dack," Emma replied.

Re: Shadow Hide You
Naragei entered the commonroom soon after Ra'Krinrij and sat down on one of the beds far away from the door. He was quite upset about them failing the faux guard ordeal. You only get one valuable chance at giving a first impression, and the Khajiit had buried that chance in the stinky depths of a metaphorical litter box.

"W-What? Why?" Valus stuttered, trying to hide his obvious blush. "She probably wouldn't want to be with me anyway," he added.
What if I leave a bad impression? What if she thinks I'm just some useless weak oaf?, Valus thought. He didn't even know if he wanted to be romantically involved with her, seeing as he hasn't had much connection wih her. But he'd be lying if he said he didn't find her red eyes attractive.
