"Are you sure?" Dack asked. A hazy pink light came from his hand and settled over Emma before sinking into her skin.

Charm spells are green....

Not if it was a Frenzy spell and she got in a certain type of frenzy.

The animation for Frenzy was green, and made the target glow red for a second before exploding into more green. I could be mistaken, though.

Maugrim nodded, replying gruffly, "And if worst comes to worse, you still have me."

I'm pretty sure that in Skyrim at least it's a pink orb in your hand, pink in flight and pink effect on the character.

Paras chuckled. And now we wait to see if the Argonian can do it again.

The Evergloam

Nocturnal sighed. The Argonian was not skilled enough to pick the lock and he knew it. The first time had been sheer luck. The Daedric Prince of Shadows shook her head as Naragei failed yet again to pick the lock.

Looking into his mind she saw what his innermost thoughts about lockpicking were. She smiled, then laughed.

Naragei

The lockpick once again threatened to snap in half. Suddenly, though, through no act of the Argonian, the lock unlocked itself.

Rolls were 4, 3, 6. Your commentary was persuasive, though.

Tsiani walked backwards for a few steps, playing with her gold earring and fostering a marvelously impish smirk. "Tsiani has boundaries and standards and undergarments and other such boring things. Does your offer still stand?" She wondered aloud.

Dar'Virr's smile was unwavering as he followed Tsiani. "This one has seen such things misplaced before," he purred. "Khajiit is a thief, and a very good one."

At the sound of the lock opening Paras got very excited. "Good job Argonian. Now let's see what's on the other side before Dack locks it again!" Paras said excitedly, being sure to put his body between Dack and the door.

"Bwahaha!" Maugrim laughed, slapping the Argonian on the back, hard, "Nice work."

"Clever thieves steal only with gentle hands. 'Dar' marks this one as clever, does it not?" Tsiani said, continuing down the corridor.

Raven muttered a sigh in annoyance "Just when things couldn't get any more hectic.. then again.." she bit her lip for a moment, even unable to resist the urge to part her hair near her ear "this Dar'Virr isn't so harsh on the eyes.. and I'm not the only to notice.." The end of her comment trailed off in a low voice, seductive but Her eyes only seemed to glance over to his partner "Charming? I'll rather have the spoil'd hairball or the frail orc than him any day..." Dan's last comment was far from her liking "Excuse me.. what dept? Who do you think you are, Clavicus Vile?"

She parted her distraction to return to her associate, readdressing her focus "Look, Lalussa was it? Sorry to bring you ill news.." she pointed over her shoulder to where the door and the wedged axe remained "but I do believe we made a deal.. unlike a certain 'Dan' here.." she gave a shrug, and tried to sound polite with her following words "They did get the door open, twice.. and the Pariah didn't shout any ill names.." she slowly held out her hand, gesturing for the much anticipated septims "Sorry dear, maybe next time luck will favor you?"

Naragei, sighed with relief and stood back up. "Thanks," he said to the Orc and Paras, beaming with the joy of victory. "Nocturnal smiles at me this day." He turned the handle and swung open the door.

Tsiani

Dack and Emma were walking down the same hall as Tsiani and Dar'Virr, their pace quicker than the Khajiits'. Dack whispered something in the Nord's ear that made her giggle. The two had turned left at the end of the hallway, Dack shooting a spell at the door that led to the room that held the other initiates. The door shut and locked, keeping the rest of the group from following for the moment.

"This one does think you clever," Dar'Virr said to the female Khajiit, still following, "and he looks forward to gentle hands."

Naragei & Friends

The Argonian, Khajiit, Orsimer and others were greeted with a stone hallway of about ten feet, its floor covered with green carpet. Lit torches in sconces once again provided the light. The hallway seemed to end in a right turn.

Valus was left alone once the girls had fled with the two other thieves. He then scurried over to the other door. "Ah I see you got it open again! That's good..." He mumbled, wih his last words trailing off. A bead of sweat fell down his cheek and his sweaty hands grasped his pants as he anticipated the thieves to move down the hallway. I will follow I suppose... I don't want to be left alone in here...

"What are we waiting for..." murmured Ra'Krinrij, leading the way down the hallway at a brisk pace. The Argonian had pulled some strange trick back there, unlocking the door and still breaking his pick. Perhaps someone had unlocked the door from the other side and then fled as another practical joke to play on the new recruits. In that case, he'd catch them in the act, at least.

Naragei went through the door, keeping a more casual pace than Ra'Krinrij. The Khajiit suddenly seemed to be in a hurry for some reason.

"What makes Dar'Virr think that this one would steal from you?" Tsiani asked innocently.

Maugrim plodded deliberately down the hallway, trying to decide where he would sleep for the night.

"You won the bet fair and square and i always settle my debts. Or nick the parchment that claims i owe them septims." Lalussa told Raven as she handed the woman the 20 septims. "You seem like a fun person to be around. Wanna break into a house and find some beds for ourselves?" She asked the breton with a smile.

Valus nervously trailed those going down the hallway. "H-How far are we exactly going?" Valus asked, as his voice cracked with anxiety. I don't know where I am, I don't know what's back here, and I don't know if I can trust these folk. He wanted to hide his fear in front of his future comrades, but to be honest, he knew they could tell he wasn't a fighter of any sort just at the sight of his small lanky build. Maybe I could just make my way back to the couch... But what would they think of me if I just abandoned them?

The hallway turned right for three feet and then ended in a shut door.

Tsiani

"Dar'Virr would be hurt to think he has nothing Tsiani wants for herself," the Khajiit said in mock sadness.

Upon coming to the door Paras tried opening it. "Let's see where this gets us," he said, turning the handle.

The door - as most had probably already determined without trying to open it - was locked.

With a sigh, Maugrim drew a lockpick out of his pocket, and handed it to Naragei.

"Good luck." he muttered.

Paras jiggled the handle a bit and said,"give me a minute," and he tried an open spell through the hand holding the handle.

The unlock spell did its job and the handle turned in Paras' hand.

Paras got a smirk, jiggled the handle a little more for theatrics, and opened the door. "Hmm, I guess it wasn't locked after all."
