Completed the Civil War as a Stormcloak. Couldn't bring myself to attack Whiterun.

This, except I have found a few Daedric pieces(Shield, Gauntlets, Dagger, Warhammer) and one Dragonbone piece(just gauntlets). Miss the days when you could find the best armor at level five if you did enough exploring.

Elderskillz, when you choose the Imperials you help defend Whiterun against the Stormcloaks.

And it is probably the funnest mission in the whole civil war chain in my opinion. It actually plays differently than the other "kill all Stormcloak/Imperial" missions.

I have never...

a)completed the Dawnguard side of the DLC.
b)EVER placed any perks in the lockpicking skill tree.
c)married the person I first set out to marry.
d)played as an argonian or a breton.
e)destroyed the Dark Brotherhood.
f)sided with the Forsworn.
g)bothered to get the map markers for the mountain peaks on Solstheim.

Everything else I have done already (repeatedly in most cases).Points a,d and f I'll handle this month then I'll most likely hang my coat and retire from Skyrim.Hm,maybe I'll go back to Daggerfall until the next Fallout comes out.

In what situation can you side with the forsworn? Is it something to do with Markarth? Oh and I have never played as an Imperial, Breton, Orc, Argonian, Kajiit, or High Elf, or Dark Elf. :P Bosmer and Nord.

Yup,it's a mini questline of sorts that you get when you first enter Markarth.IMO it's one of the more important side quests as it sheds a little light on the Markarth Incident which was the spark that started the civil war.The "mini questline" concludes with you having to choose between siding with the Forsworn or going your own way.

I see that no one has ever put a perk into Lockpicking (neither have I, even with my thief character), but has anyone ever played a character who never picked a lock at all? The famous Nord sense of honor apparently doesn't extend to private property. Too much good stuff is in all those chests, and I think there are some dungeons that require you to pass through fairly deadly traps that can only be avoided through disarming them (with the Lockpicking skill). Even my "honorable" Nord smith has a Lockpicking of 81.

I used to make pure melee with no ranged, sneak, lockpick, or crafting of any kind. Things got stale so now I don't mind having a more well rounded character.

I have. Mostly on my mage. She doesn't even pick up lockpicks, for fear I'll forget.

Very clever. I'm sure I'd have to do the same if I ever chose to abstain from lockpicking.

...completed Civil War. I tried at least half a dozen times and every single one ended with a broken quest stopping my progress. I don't have any mods that change the Civil War questline, so I guess I'm just exceptionally unlucky.

You should make a character to just run those quest lines. Both are pretty good stories and you should experience them at least once.

In general I find the Dark Brotherhood and the whole Night Mother and Sithis thing a bit morbid but the story that goes with the quest line is entertaining and a bit revealing.

The Thieves Guild is just a fun romp across Skyrim. Be sure to do the jobs for Vex and Devlin so you can get the four special quests Devlin offers.

I have only ever played on the same character so I have many "I never's".

- I've never joined the Dark Brotherhood. As cool as I think the DB questline is, it simply wouldn't fit my character at all (joining the Thieves' Guild was already a stretch as it is).
- I've never put any perks in alchemy or enchanting, or even really created anything with them.
- I've never joined the Stormcloaks. I almost did, but now after finishing the Imperial side of the civil war, I don't think I can ever bring myself to join them.
- I've never killed Paarthurnax and never will. He's just too likeable a character. I'd feel like a cold-blooded monster.
- I've never found/used any Daedric gear, with the exception of some arrows I found on a bandit (I only have 22, so I've been saving them).
- I've never helped the Forsworn. Actually that's only half-true. I did side with them originally, but after seeing the massacre that followed, I reloaded the save and killed Madanach instead.

I like becoming just an associate of the Thieve's Guild. It's a good way to get thiefy guild perks even if you don't plan on completing the questline.

I've never joined the Dark Brotherhood. I mean to when I start the game but I just can't forgive Astrid when she kidnaps me and tries to force me to kill one of the three prisoners. I always just turn on her, free the prisoners and then head on my merry way, mead bottle in hand.

I've never played a Nord except for test runs; these test runs usually involve me trying out a new mod with the default blonde Nord man, affectionately named "Butt-head" or "dis guy."

That was actually the first one I have ever found. ;) I can't get the one with the waterfall on the way to Riften. The current always carries me down and after a couple of trips back up I get too frustrated and leave it. One day though, one day... ;)
